Family-friendly vacation rentals in Évora District

It's been a wonderful vacation - the place is perfect for rest, and the photos don't do it justice. The property consists of four houses, one common (with pool, treadmill, etc.) and several lounging areas around the pool, clean and good size, as well as a pond full of fish. In the area there are several villages with supermarkets and good restaurants; Évora is 40 minutes away. It is a perfect place to get to know the Alentejo and spend the day for example in Lisbon or Évora. The owners, Mathieu and Martha, are absolutely lovely, attentive, polite and respectful. They have been attentive to our needs without being invasive. We are sure that we will repeat it, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

I had a great experience in this Airbnb hosting! The house was very spacious and clean, which made my stay very comfortable. In addition, the location was incredible, with a huge public park just steps away. The park had padel courts, a soccer field and plenty of space to walk and play sports. It was great to be able to take advantage of the park facilities during my stay. Another positive point was the proximity of a market with a great variety of options, being just a few meters from the house. This made it very easy to buy groceries and meals during my stay. I strongly recommend this accommodation for those looking for a comfortable, clean place with great leisure options and outdoor activities nearby, as well as easy access to a market. I will certainly be staying here again at the next chance!

We had a fantastic time with Marthe and Mathieu. They are both super friendly and hospitable and want to make their guests feel very comfortable. Always approachable and repeatedly asked us if everything was going well and we were satisfied. For us, the kitchen supplies could be a little more extensive, as we like to cook on vacation.

Very spacious house with pleasant terraces and a lovely swimming pool. Carlos and his wife welcomed us with open arms! They were very friendly and very flexible with check-in and check-out. Absolutely recommended!

Everything is very good, the accommodation is as described, very quiet. We had a great time, especially the children since it has good facilities to play as a family.

Very cozy house and surrounding space. Very quiet space for those who need to relax / get out of the routine. The visit of the sheep at the end of the day was the most anticipated moment of the day. The Host was always impeccable, and present when needed. A word of appreciation to the cleaning team with whom we had the privilege of meeting at the time of check-out, who were very warm and welcoming.

We recommend the stay as the house is very well equipped, very quiet area and has everything needed for a great vacation. The location is great for those who want to enjoy the wonderful river beaches of Alqueva, especially Azenhas d'el Rei and Mourão or get lost in one of the most beautiful villages in Portugal, Monsaraz.

Very peaceful stay here. Presence of ants/flies/spiders inside as expected from a country home. The only real pitfall is the fact that the water is not potable (must be boiled before consuming).

This is the third time we've come to Sonia's. I love it. The place is beautiful. The lake, canoe, paddle, walks around allow you to enjoy the natural lake. The air conditioning works well (it was 36 degrees). A few ant and mosquito attacks. I will be back with pleasure.

Great stay at Luis's place, everything was perfect. The house is absolutely charming, typical and located in the beautiful little village of the potters Sao Pedro Do Corval. Delicate attention from Luis upon arrival. I recommend it 100%.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was spacious, private, and comfortable—perfect for both sunny and rainy days. It had a cozy atmosphere and offered everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The kitchen was well equipped, though we did miss a few basics like kitchen towels, chopping boards, and some cleaning utensils. A few of us also found the bed mattresses and pillows less comfortable than expected. That said, everything else was great, and we’d definitely consider staying here again!

We were very well received in this beautiful house at the heart of the Alentejo. Spacious, cozy and extra comfortable. also very welcoming, were the hosts, always helpful, friendly, making us feel at home. They even offered to pick us up at 7 a.m. in Évora. I recommend! Lovely house in a beautiful location! Perfect for disconnecting and recharging!.. Close to a beautiful town. Make sure your vehicle is high enough of the ground since the roads on the approach are Rough. But it’s all part of the charm! Would stay again and would recommend!!

We had a fantastic stay! From the first contact, the hosts were extremely friendly, attentive and always available to help with anything. The house was impeccably clean upon our arrival, very well equipped and with everything we needed for a quiet and comfortable few days. The road to get to the house is very bumpy, but that's well described. Paul will be waiting for you half way up. The house is really beautiful, very comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful, quiet and peaceful. There are many beautiful places to visit in the area and it was coming back home every night. Unfortunately, we did not have a walk through the cork orchard and no winetasting. We'll go back for that, too. Very nice place!!!!!!

We were very warmly welcomed by Lucia and Cuno. We immediately received some extra toys for our daughter and a bath in which she was able to play wonderfully during our stay. Furthermore, it was a very nice environment and place to stay the last few days of our vacation. Also had a few good tips from Lucia and Cuno for excursions that were also suitable with a small child. Thanks for a great time!!

The outdoor space was beautiful, we spent the day by the pool, which we had to ourselves. The house itself was quaint and clean, but quite dark. Some brighter lighting in the kitchen would have been nice. The neighbors were very friendly and recommended that we go up to the castle at Evoramonte to watch the sunset- this was by far one of the highlights of our entire trip. I would love to come back someday with a big group and rent out both of the casas.

We had a wonderful time at Catarina’s place. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and had all things necessary for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated so much as we enjoyed cooking our meals. The pool was our favourite spot during the day and the huge estate allowed for gorgeous evening walks. We loved having the dogs around and getting some cuddles in. :) We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation, and we are hoping to return ourselves as well!

Traditional Portuguese home in beautiful surroundings - we were blown away with the views and loved being surrounded by cork forests and on a working farm. We went swimming every day despite the bad weather as the pool views were magnificent. The house is beautiful and very spacious, but more rustic than in the photos. Our elderly parents missed some of their creature comforts like comfy beds, fast flowing showers and a modern kitchen. The owner Paul was very helpful and willing to help us with anything we needed.
