Ideal stay for two families with children able to share bunk beds. No wifi, but we are not at Beaumesnil castle to spend your time on the web. The real interest of this cottage that remains expensive is the access to the castle park which is most of the time closed: a door to the cottage overlooks the interior of the castle, with an access in a huge garden full of farm animals, a paradise for kids, peacocking, geese, sheep, ducks, ducks, goats, pony. We were even able to visit the Chateau de Beaumesnil for free, the drawbridge was down. The heater works perfectly. Only Repproche: a corkscrew was missing… and that… would almost deserve a star less haha. Dear, but EXCELLENT VALUE for MONEY for families with children between 5-12 years old, especially to discover the countryside. Very proactive, nice hosts, hosting the castle in support. Super flexible check-in and checkout. (we left around 5pm) Congrats!!!

Manoir 1908 is the real deal. Creaky, quirky, and a wonderful example of an old world French countryside home. We didn’t have a vehicle which would have made it more accessible, but that did not keep us from enjoying our stay. The house was so cool and interesting. The grounds were lovely and spacious. Florence was the best host offering help with local recommendations and taxi service. Not mentioned in the amenities is the fancy coffee/espresso machine. I want one now.

A spacious living area features high, arched ceilings and exposed brickwork. A combination of light and dark furniture creates a cozy ambiance. Large windows allow natural light to fill the room, while a dining table and inviting seating are positioned thoughtfully for gatherings.

There are restaurants and all kinds of grocery stores, markets and supermarkets. Departure from Montparnasse 75014 station and arrival in Houdan 78550, 18 kilometers from Sorel - Orly airport 85 km away - Charles de Gaulle Airport is 107 km away. - Beauvais Airport 152 km It is essential to have a car on site. If I am in Paris, I will do everything to make myself available and meet guests who will spend a full week. Nature and calm are the dominant at this property. By car The old castle is closed between November 15th and early May. So there is only the bird pavilion available for rental. That's 6 beds. Hence the big price differences according to the seasons.

Beautiful property. We had the sun, were able to enjoy the Beautiful pool and jacuzzi. Many places allow you to rest and enjoy the landscape. André is very attentive to the expectations of his guests and does everything possible to make the stay particularly pleasant. We recommend this property and hope to come back soon
