Dear guests, The cozy vacation home, which was lovingly renovated by us in 2020, should allow you to have beautiful vacation days in the Rhenish Westerwald. Here you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life due to the quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac and enjoy the sun and the view of the nearby Fockenbach Valley on the spacious wooden veranda or on the balcony until the late evening hours. On cold days, the wood-burning stove in the living and dining area is inviting for relaxation.

Bright, cozy apartment (approx. 60 m²) with garden view and separate, ground-level entrance. It is in a quiet location on the first floor of a detached house on the Rhine Heights surrounded by the Siebengebirge, Westerwald, the idyllic Wiedbach Valley and the romantic Rhine Valley. Cities such as Koblenz, Bonn or Cologne are just as easy to reach as the wine region of the Middle Rhine and the Ahr as well as numerous cycling and hiking trails (Westerwaldsteig, Rheinsteig, Siebengebirge).

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Hike in the forest or by the lake and enjoy a bike ride with our e-bikes. When it's cool, warm up in the sauna or heated pool before settling in with a glass of red wine by the fireplace. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake (SUP/kayak are also available) before watching the stars in the evening.

Two e-bikes can be rented by our guests for day or multi-day tours. Contactless check-in and check-out via the key box is possible.

The bright and modern apartment with great distant views from the terrace into the Wiedtal is centrally located in Windhagen. You can use it as a starting point to get to know the surrounding area such as the Siebengebirge, Rhine Valley and Westerwald, as well as Bonn and Cologne. You can also work undisturbed and in peace here.
