We had a great weekend in Uskedalen. The apartment was exactly what we had imagined for us and the view from the balcony was new! Gina was easy to communicate with both before and during the stay.

We were totally satisfied!

It was a wonderful week, soft perfect beds, well equipped house of high standard, very good wlan, good fishing boats, big freezer, own fishermen kitchen … and the best is simply the marvelous view 😁

After crossing the forest in 30 minutes, we finally arrived at Villa Vannes. We had a great time in Hilde's tiny house, timeless. The location is just amazing, on the edge of a beautiful fjord where we could even see a whale! Everything is done to feel at your best, surrounded by nature. We were able to enjoy ax throwing, a very good dinner and breakfast concocted by Hilde. Hilde is a very pleasant and responsive host. We enjoyed sharing with her. We highly recommend it if you're looking for an extraordinary experience in Norwegian nature!

We spent a few quiet days of our Norway tour with Heidi and Ove. The place was super clean and very nicely located, the view of the fjord was really nice. We rented one of the boats for two days and went out fishing, which also worked out great. Heidi and Ove were very friendly and responded quickly to questions and messages. For a longer stay, we would probably miss the Wi-Fi, but for a few days, the lack of Wi-Fi did not bother us.

I summary, it was clean, great location and an amazing apartment to hang out in and enjoy the view of the fjord and surrounding mountains. It was a great location to stay for a visiting Salmon Eye as well, as it is a 2min walk down the stairs to the meeting point for the boat. Main bed was very soft. If you like soft beds, this is great. For me preferring a firmer mattress, this was not ideal. Also there is no microwave, so if this is something you need in your routine, just take note.

Rosendal, the nature, the mountains, the culture, the weather. Everything was wonderful. Tinghuset, the hosts Anita and Dag and the swimming area as well. We had a wonderful long weekend and missed nothing. We gladly came back...

Ingers and Knuts place was just wonderful, the fjord in front of us, kajaks to be rent for free, swimming directly from the house, incredible views, a very kind and hospitable host, a easy accessible sauna, fishing ropes, bicycles, just everything what we needed. Knut welcomed us, showed us around and he and his wife were just always available when we needed something. And the wooden house with its details was just wonderful to live in for a week. We would love to come back!! Thank you so much.

Great located cute little cottage with unbeatable fjord views. View of porpoises and rainbows included. Super equipped kitchen. Lots of options for excursions in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the house is not recommended for the elderly or people with mobility restrictions, as well as smaller children, as a steep gravel path to the house must be covered and the upper rooms can only be reached in the house via a steep staircase. Direct parking is not possible in front of the house, the path to the fjord is unfortunately also very difficult.
