Cabin vacation rentals in Estrie

The description is correct; it is a cabin in the woods with no electricity. We arrived to snow and used a provided sled to haul in our stuff. The cabin itself is small and very cozy. Our host could not get the outside Hot tub to work so she brought a sauna in for us to use instead, really great service. If you enjoy rustic settings and a little adventure, this is a great spot. We will be back.

This was our second time at this chalet. We are 2 families. 4 adults and 4 children ages 9-13. 6 bedroom, with comfortable bed. The kids can all play on the walk out basement...foose ball table, air hockey, karaoke, tv, couch. The kitchen is well supplied with pots/pans and spices. Beautiful surrounding, a hottub. We will be back for sure! Host was a pleasure to communicate with!

The chalet is beautiful, large, clean, well-equipped. It is in a secluded and quiet place but also not very far from the attractions of the region, so it's the perfect combination. The indoor spa with a view of the forest is great.

We had a pleasant stay at Cindy and Helene's who were very responsive and accommodating throughout! The accommodation is very well located for accessing Mont-Mégantic National Park. You really need a powerful car to get to the hamlet (especially if you take the wrong road like us ;)). The cottage is very well maintained and cozy, the bedding is very comfortable. Note that the 4 beds are in one upstairs bedroom, which suited us perfectly. Finally, my dog was also welcome, which matters a lot to me!

We had a great stay despite some trouble with the lock at first. The host is responsive! Once that was resolved we had a great time! There are a lot of amenities provided and the spot is convenient for visiting Stanstead, Newport VT, etc. Thanks!

Close to the United States so fresh if they have made For the Milky Way chalet, I was expecting this theme inside too. But too much decoration that has no relation, rooster, wolf, butterfly, etc. On the other hand in the spas, the view, the sky that really represented the name of the cottage. Would I go back? Yes, without hesitation. For the price it's worth it. The beach not far away is a plus;-). I loved my stay;-)

Ideal chalet to clear your head and spend a peaceful stay! Idyllic setting, beautiful and very well maintained chalet. A little piece of paradise, I would come back without hesitation!

Great place for our family of four and our friend’s family of four. The kids love the bunk beds! Having the two lounge spaces was a bonus - kids could go play or watch a movie and us parents could have our space. Very close to ski hill and beach (we went ice fishing during our stay).

Very good host with a great “nature” setup. Sleeping with the rain in the forest and the window wall fully opened is magical! Great experience all around.

Beautiful little cozy and warm cottage. We were two adults and two kids, we had enough space and especially a lot of fun despite the rainy weather. The facilities are rudimentary but completely in accordance with the description and everything is functional. The micro chalet is located really close to the parking lot and Club Houde which can be a good option with children. The outdoor terrace with the fire spot is a nice plus to the cottage. I will definitely return in the summer.

Words can't describe the incredible experience we had! As city dwellers, we were initially a bit apprehensive about the "eco" house aspect and the walk-to location. However, everything exceeded our expectations – so much so that this will become an annual tradition! The setting is truly magical. The cabin is cozy and luxurious, offering the perfect blend of comfort and nature. The trails are breathtaking and easily accessible. The staff were exceptional, making us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Overall, it was a perfect stay. Thank you for having us! We will definitely be back next year.

The place is wonderful! Everything in the cottage is well thought out and the hosts are attentive and available. Ideal for a peaceful weekend in nature!

Very Nice Cabin in the woods, the screened in porch with the swings was perfect to keep the bugs out while enjoying the peaceful outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped and the fireplaces are stocked and ready to be used with wood and newspaper which was a nice touch. Great trails and hikes on the vertendre domaine lovely scenery around the lake. Will def re-book!

If you're looking to have an authentic experience and go back “as in the good old days”, this place is great! The two log cottages, connected by a balcony and nestled in the middle of the forest on the edge of Lake Mégantic, offer a simply beautiful view and a site. Without electricity or running water, it is an invitation to disconnect and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Solar lamps and a cell phone charger are still available, adding a practical touch. Although the lack of water requires some planning (like bringing enough for dishes), this is part of the rustic charm. The backhouse, located a little further afield, adds a touch of adventure, although it can be a challenge at night for the younger ones. The slow-burning fireplaces in each cottage create a warm atmosphere, but require maintenance to maintain a pleasant temperature. A great experience for nature lovers.

Very nice experience for 4 in Quintessence. Although the place was small (as clearly stated in the instructions), we really had a good time and the two double beds were very comfortable. Very quick host in response time, nothing to repeat. Thank you!

A very nice family experience, in summer. We definitely want to go back in the middle of winter, both as a couple and with the kids. We can't imagine the breathtaking beauty of the landscape under the snow... Looking forward to returning!!

We had an excellent stay, the place is stunning and we feel very connected to the nature, but also extremely comfortable at the Zoobox!

Good stay, The Zoobox is as described. Kids loved it. The layout is very functional and the customer service is attentive and very responsive. It was missing more cushions and blankets for the “lounge” to make the place more comfortable. We had to take it from one of the rooms. All in all, a beautiful discovery!

Had a wonderful time! Zoobox 66 was very clean, the location was beautiful, and it was well stocked with everything you need. Only issue was the zoobox had an ant problem, but that's to be expected being so close to nature. Definitely would return in the future.

Our stay at the Vertendre was very relaxing. This was our second time, and again, the zooboxes are a favorite for us! It was very well-equipped and comfortable. Giving us the opportunity to change the main air in the living room with the sofas, in the dining room thanks to the rolling table/bench, in the bedroom with the king-size bed (too comfortable!), as well as the portable bath. All this in front of the magnificent view of the forest and the melody of nature. We also enjoyed the two bedrooms and the bathroom with the large shower. The weather being mostly rain, we were able to read peacefully in front of this magnificent view accompanied by the fireplace. We still walked in the forest since the large trees covered us from the rain and we were able to enjoy the lake with the boats available a few minutes' walk from the zoobox. What a wonderful stay, thank you Vertendre! We'll be back for sure!

Warm welcome and employees welcome. They guide us to our zoobox and explain the activities on the site. Safe and very clean places, trails, lakes and zoobox. Several activities on site hiking trails will be delighted. Chaloupe kayak and paddleboard. Several relaxing air on the site and even in the zoobox. Zooboxes are well equipped and even little ones can have fun indoors, in case of very convenient rain. Need to recharge with nature empty and find its balance...you will be filled like me. A beautiful stay and I leave my head full of memories. 🧘‍♀️🙏😊🏞

We really enjoyed our luxury camping ready experience! The host was very proactive in handling our requests. A very nice relaxing place, we will come back.
