Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Essex

The Nana-Tucket Inn is an absolutely gorgeous and pristine property with everything a family could need! It was perfect for our family while we were visiting New England. It was a great space for family time and our teenagers had plenty to do. Nancy and Joe are the perfect hosts! They are kind and extremely helpful while they maintain the beautiful property. They are not intrusive at all but are there if you need anything. During our stay, a huge storm blew through Massachusetts with extremely strong winds and tons of rain. Nancy and Joe had the mess made by the storm was cleaned up immediately by a professional crew the next morning so that we did not miss a single moment of the property amenities! Nancy also made us a blueberry crumble cake that was delicious and so kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we cannot wait to return during our next New England trip.

The Aesthetics, landscaping, the outdoor sitting space so welcoming. Attention to small to small details like carryout cups for your coffee. For us coffee os a big deal (smile), just to name a few.

My friends and I really enjoyed the house. It was VERY clean and it was in a great location. Easy walk to the beach and a couple of fun bar/restaurants. Parking for 5 cars. Only thing for renters to be aware of is the photos make the house appear a lot bigger than it is. The living room is small and the room with the twin beds is very small. However, the deck is large and attractive! Great house for a sunny day!!!

Great location; quiet and peaceful. On-street parking and there are lots of stairs, if that is a concern. Host was very responsive, listing as described.

A fantastic experience. The house was very clean and a great place to relax. We vacationed with our young family and there was plenty to do at the house. The house is set up great with games, books, and supplies. The house and backyard are better than the pictures. I would book again. The beach is a little bit away, but it is a beautiful walk and a great beach. Tom was a great host.

Beautiful place just a one minute ride to the Rockport Golf Club where my daughter was getting married. We had plenty of room for all six of us. A nice big kitchen with a very large center island so we could share many meals and prepare food and platters for the wedding. The living room has a lovely gas fireplace and we had many cozy evenings there as we destressed from all the wedding festivities. We spent quite a lot of time outdoors, walking down to the ocean and sitting on the deck, watching the stars. October is a lovely time to visit Rockport. Less traffic, pretty autumn colors, no big crowds at restaurants so short wait for tables. If we needed to come back for another event, I would choose this home again. *for those with back issues- all of the beds were cozy but not supportive and very soft.

We really enjoyed staying in your beautiful home. It was decorated so nicely and so well appointed. The bathroom was so clean and bright. The neighborhood is so pretty and we enjoyed taking a walk with the dog when we arrived. The beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place and host! The ocean, great food, close to Endicott College, quiet and a beautiful area. Johanna was responded to questions and was proactive to leave lights on for us, knowing our flight would get us in late. There were some breakfast items waiting for us too! A nice welcoming touch to our stay!

Steve and Nancy were wonderful, gracious hosts. They allowed us to check-in early, gave great information about the area, and were awesome communicators from the time we booked until we checked out. The apartment was perfect for my nephew and me. It was a restful place to return after long days of sightseeing and lots of walking!

The location of Gigi’s place cannot be beat. Centrally located in Rockport, and above/adjacent to great restaurants. Apartment was immaculate and tasteful. Gigi provides very clear instructions and is very responsive. Would definitely stay here again. We flew into Boston and did not rent a car for this stay. The apartment is about a 15 minute walk from the commuter train station, and a minute or two walk from the Dock Square CATA bus stop that can bring you to the train station as well as other places like Halibut Point State Park.

We enjoyed our stay!!! The place was great and my son commented on how comfortable the beds were . The street is a little noisy but they provided sound machines that helped drown it out .20 min drive to Salem and 30-45min drive to Boston depending on traffic . Lots of restaurants and coffee nearby .

Lisa and Bob were so kind and accommodating. I felt right at home and would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for what we needed for our stay in the Boston area. We really enjoyed the surrounding restaurants and the beach.

Had everything we needed, was really comfortable and a great place to explore the area from. Highly recommended and will be back if we are looking to stay in the area again.

A lovely place to stay in the Salem. Great location that’s very walkable to downtown Salem and all the attractions therein. The apartment is great, with a comfy bed, smart TV and a well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals when not dining out. Host was very helpful, responsive and accommodating. Thank you!

Great place to stay during our trip to Boston. Close enough to the city for easy access, but just out of the way for nice and quiet evenings. I'd love to come here and stay again for my next trip!

The house is well-set up to accommodate guests. The neighborhood is safe, residential and with free-lines streets. Near Arnold Arboretum it is a beautiful area. The bathroom and bedroom are really clean and clutter-free which was so refreshing to experience! Anna is incredibly responsive and even when I needed assistance in the early morning hours she was available. And when I returned home late one evening on an unseasonably hot day she offered to turn on he air conditioning and then proceeded to install a window unit in the room in less than 19 minutes. She made great coffee in the morning and provided many suggestions for transport and getting around generally; and she walked me to the nearby bus stop on my first morning in the house. The house is large enough to house multiple guests simultaneously but I hardly overlapped with them. I’m very appreciative for the pleasant experience.

Anna is such a friendly and professional host, we had a wonderful stay! We will definitely come back next time when visiting Boston.

Our stay at Anna and Samuel’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet and peaceful and within driving distance of the city. It was clean and comfortable. The hosts were responsive and could easily any questions we had. We will definitely consider staying there again.
