Vacation rentals with a kayak in Essex County

We had a great mini-vacation at Mary Lou's airbnb! Everything was comfortable. The beach was so close and we could also walk to breakfast and lunch. Nice not to have to drive everywhere. If we get the opportunity we will definitely stay here again. Offered early check in when available and even late check out! We couldn't take advantage of that but so nice of her to offer! Great place!

We loved our stay and wish it could have been longer. The location is awesome, and with plenty of room for our 5 adults and 2 children to relax after enjoying the beach and ocean. We were also treated to amazing sunsets and endless beach-combing. Ocean views from the home are breathtaking and unobstructed; truly inspiring. And Barbara was an incredible host and immediately responded to any questions we had. Would love to visit again. Thank you Barbara!

Being in this space brought instant ease and comfort and convenience. The sitting area was comfy and inviting . .The kitchen was efficient and squeaky clean with an induction top, micro, toaster, blender, Keurig and fridge. The bathroom is simply perfect with a soaking tub and walk in shower, and a bowl sink. The bed, well, linen sheets, great duvet and pillows and hard to leave in the mornings. The place is perfect. And I didn't even explore the Air Stream!

My friends and I had SUCH a lovely time at Margaret’s. The airbnb was decorated beautifully, had plenty of space, and was situated with the most beautiful bay view and access. Couldn’t recommend it more!!

Deborah’s place was fantastic! My parents came up for an extended stay and it was perfect for them- it was clean, easy to get around and had beautiful surroundings. The host was quick and responsive with any questions we had. Highly recommended and we will be back for more stays!

This is an amazing coastal getaway house for one or two couples looking for a private location in the beautiful Marblehead location near Boston and Salem. The house has all the amenities you will need for your stay, with a great patio and huge private backyard space. The location is close to supermarkets and services as well as local attractions and a couple of blocks from the beach.

We had a great time at the lake house! Beautiful location. The house is actually not on the lake, but there is a great dock and hang out lot that is part of the property (a very short walk down the trail), and it's actually great that way since the house is private and set back from all the action on the water. The back yard has a great grill and deck. The lake was very refreshing. Good places to hang out inside and the kitchen was well stocked except we picked up some #4 coffee filters for the coffee machine. Thanks Justin and Alyssa!

The pictures don’t do this place justice! It’s so much more spacious than I was expecting and the decor was beautiful. We loved being on the lake and the area is so quiet and peaceful. The hosts were so responsive and proactive — they even installed brand new window AC units in the bedrooms without us asking because it was supposed to be in the 90s and they wanted to make sure the mini split didn’t leave us feeling too hot. The unit had everything we needed and the place was so comfortable. We honestly didn’t want to leave. We will definitely stay again!!!

Wow! This place was amazing. My family and I had the most incredible time relaxing and enjoying a long weekend. Rob was so responsive and helpful in every way possible. If I could have given 6 stars on everything I would. I can’t wait to stay there again

We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here. The river really is right down the street. Our dog loved her walks. If you're traveling in the fall, it's so beautiful and the wood burning stove made for cozy days and nights. The neighbours were friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the washer and dryer was a convenient addition. In the back room, there's a spacious desk which made working from home during the trip a breeze. Thank you Peter. It was a wonderful six weeks.

Had a wonderful stay at Caroline's place. The location was perfect, and very walkable to beaches. The home was cozy, and well appointed. We will definitely be back!

The house was beautiful and very comfortable in a quiet area. Nice walking area and downtown is close. Everything about the house was very up to date and spotless. Roseann was a very gracious host. Very responsive to questions communicating important information. She even came by to fix something I let her know about but wasn’t urgent and probably could have waited. Overall it was a much needed restorative and relaxing stay.
