House vacation rentals in Essex County

My family and I were fortunate enough to spend the thanksgiving holiday here. It was the perfect space for a group gathering. Would highly recommend!

Amy’s home in Marblehead is just perfect. The location of the home was so lovely, as was the home itself, and the host Amy was wonderful. What a memorable weekend we had. I planned my childhood best friend’s “last toast on the coast” and honestly, it wouldn’t have been as perfect without Amy’s lovely home. You don’t realize how important your air bnb environment is on a trip - but it is so important and sets the tone for the trip. So thank you so much Amy! She is such a kind and helpful host. My family loves to travel to MA coast - I told them all about Amy’s home, and will hope to return in the future!

Had a great time in Rockport! Walkable down to Bearskin neck and the pool was great!

This is the third year we were able to rent Ediangela’s house. As always it’s beautiful and clean. The pool is spotless. Plenty of space for big groups and absolutely perfect for families with kids of all ages. There’s so much to do on the property itself. She is so kind and responsive. It’s always been amazing every time we stay. It’s becoming our summer staple to come and stay by the pool for a few days of vacation. 10/10 absolutely worth renting this space. This year we brought two 10 year olds, a 5 year old, and a 2 year old, with 4 adults. They had the best time in the little play houses and pool. The adults had a great time as well. If you’re looking for a low key - big fun spot where you don’t have to run around to entertain, this is perfect! Everything you need or may need is on site or minutes away if you need to shop. Including the actual beach. I sincerely hope we get the chance to make it year 4 next summer!

I loved everything Maxine said and how she helped navigate around every even in the house, everything was so clean, very quite place good for professional working, everything was just beyond, amazing & lovely place you feel right at home with so much space to move around the house. This is one of the most well thought out properties we have stayed at. There was everything & more. In fact some of things provided for us we could never have even thought of. Michelle is responsive & accommodated all requests. Definitely spoiled us & raised the bar. Loved it & look forward to being back.

The home was so lovely and comfortable - perfect for our family. It had so many amenities, and comfortable sleeping spaces. It looks exactly like the pictures. We will definitely return!

Emenkeng’s place was perfect for me on my trip to the North Shore. Super easy to get to and from the airport and to my friends’ homes. Emenkeng was responsive and helpful when I had questions and the apartment was completely spotless when I arrived. I felt safe the whole time I was there. I would definitely stay here again!

Oh my goodness. This place was a DREAM. Such a beautiful home with a view you can’t top. My husband and I stayed with our children and two friends for an east coast summer getaway and we could not have found a better place. Awesome setup, view, and Gaby could not have been more helpful. We would love to stay here again.

My husband and I were blown away McKenna’s place — every detail was thought of, it was clean, comfortable and cozy, as well as super convenient to the places we wanted to go in Rockport. McKenna reached out ahead of time and was easy to contact. There is not one thing we’d change. Amazing stay! I know without a doubt we will book 6 Tuna Wharf again in the future.

We are more than happy with the stay at Jose’s. It was clean, quiet, and the house is beautiful inside and out. The beds are very comfy. I’m from a very very small town in Nebraska so it was nice to sit on the porch and watch the cars go by. If I could, I would give 10 stars. I will book again with Jose. It really does feel like home, so I appreciated our stay so much more. Thank you to Jose and Melissa. You are the best!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mike & Dalia’s cottage. It was very clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed waking up to birds chirping and waves crashing. Our weather was perfect to enjoy the beach only a few minutes away. Mike and Dalia are excellent hosts. They were very responsive to messages, had very clear check in instructions and helpful suggestions for local places. We really appreciated the special touches they provided for our stay, including fresh flowers, and a surprise birthday treat for me! We would love to return to the pink cottage in the future!

Our family of 7 came out to visit Salem & Boston and I came across this lovely home in Marblehead. It was about a 10 minute drive to Salem so it was very convenient. The home was very clean, the beds were comfortable and it was nicely spread out so we all felt like we had our own space during our down time. Miriam was a very responsive host and she was extremely accommodating and flexible. We would definitely recommend this home and would stay again!

Amazing place! Very quaint and comfortable. Great coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Erin did an outstanding job communicating and we can't wait to come back!

The place was beautiful. You could see every small detail that Brea put into it, made it a pleasure to stay in. She was super friendly and prompt to respond to messages with questions. Place is handicap accessible. It is on the ground level with a small paved walkway to the door; No stairs. Shower was very easy to get in and out of and had a shower seat. Property location was perfect, pretty much 5 minutes from anything you would want to do in the town of Salem. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Will definitely think about staying there again when we come back to the area.

One of best places we have ever rent. Amazing well equipped with everything we needed. Far exceeded what most places provide. Kevin was a great host from the beginning and the location of the house was beyond charming. Hope we can return someday.

Wonderful Airbnb and host! We all agreed this was the most comfortable and well-equipped Airbnb we have stayed in! Albana was very quick to respond and super helpful. We loved sitting on the porch in the beautiful backyard drinking coffee from the abundant coffee bar!

Stayed here for 10 days in late November. My mom was transitioning from the hospital to rehab and then to her home. I worked all day everyday getting her place ready. John's Place came to be known as My Sanctuary at the end of the day. Very comfortable and very quiet. And John is a very nice, accommodating, compassionate guy. He asked about my mom everyday. I will definitely stay here for my next trip to the Boston area. Thanks for everything, John!

Beautiful place just a one minute ride to the Rockport Golf Club where my daughter was getting married. We had plenty of room for all six of us. A nice big kitchen with a very large center island so we could share many meals and prepare food and platters for the wedding. The living room has a lovely gas fireplace and we had many cozy evenings there as we destressed from all the wedding festivities. We spent quite a lot of time outdoors, walking down to the ocean and sitting on the deck, watching the stars. October is a lovely time to visit Rockport. Less traffic, pretty autumn colors, no big crowds at restaurants so short wait for tables. If we needed to come back for another event, I would choose this home again. *for those with back issues- all of the beds were cozy but not supportive and very soft.

Our family of 5 (2 parents and 3 teens/tween) had a wonderful stay at Tom’s beach home. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, the ocean view from almost every room, the fun toys/games, and the well-chosen decor. The house had anything we could possibly need for a stay at the beach. We loved spending time in the beautifully landscaped yard listening to the birds, watching the sun rise and set on the waves, and swinging on the swing. It was just a 10 minute drive to groceries at Market Basket, and a 10 minute walk to an amazing beach. Tom was a great host. Thank you!

We were delighted to stay at Vanessa’s home, which is even lovelier than the photos depict. The area and home are beautiful and quiet, with all the amenities we needed. We had the opportunity to meet Vanessa, and she was exceptionally kind. Very highly recommend!

From start to finish, Sheila and her place were great. Sheila was a fantastic host, reaching out in advance to make sure we were all set for check in. We encountered some unexpected weather during our trip and Sheila made sure we had what we needed in case the storm got worse. The home itself was clean and comfortable and exactly as described. Being able to sit inside the front room surrounded by windows or on the large deck outside both overlooking the water was a fantastic way to start each morning. The nearby beach, Pavilion Beach, was only a quick, easy walk from the house and was both quiet and beautiful. Sheila provided a list of local restaurants and other places to check out, which was very helpful. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay.

We really enjoyed staying here. The house was beautiful, and on a quiet street. A great family home with a big fenced in back yard. Anna was great, very responsive to my messages, and easy to work with. We added 2 people to our reservation, and she made it an easy process. We would stay here again!
