Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. In the still undiscovered and beautiful West Zealand lies this lovely wooden cottage with scenic garden. The cottage is located at the end of a closed road with neighbors on three sides. The house is well furnished, without internet or TV. There is a free view of the neighbor's natural site from the house terrace. Vesterlyng - one of the most beautiful beaches in the country - is located 10 minutes by car from the house. We love the bees and the sustainable garden, so our land is a mixture of wild and nurtured nature. There's grass in front of the house.

The house is spacious, high ceilings and with many cozy nooks. Bed linen, one towel, and one bath towel per person are included. Genuine summer house gem in the middle of the tranquility

Welcome to Saltbæk, here traffic noise is replaced with the sea and birdsong. With only barely 400 meters to the beach, it's easy to take a dip when your mood offers it. Enjoy the area's many hours of sunshine from both front and back yards. The house is the last one on the road, so you can safely let your kids play in the garden. We would like to use the small kitchen garden ourselves, but you are welcome to use the herbs. The shed will be locked, but garden games, blankets, and powder will be available to you.

In addition, there is a bathroom, kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine as well as living and dining room in one. The covered terrace forms a lovely outdoor space where you can eat the day's meals, bask with good books – even when it rains. In the garden there is a trambolin and a playhouse. When you want to go to the beach, just stroll about 400 meters.
