We were very satisfied with everything. We kept in touch with the host from the time of booking until the day of departure, he was available throughout, he helped with everything. We also got tips for activities and restaurants in the area. We arrived late at night, but that was no problem, we were able to easily take the key from a box. Cute surprises awaited us on the table and Nespresso coffee was prepared. The accommodation completely enchanted us, it offered us more than a 5-star hotel. Spacious rooms and spaces, pharmacy cleanliness, good equipment and comfort. We were able to connect perfectly here, the building and its surroundings are characterized by tranquility and quiet. Mariazell center can be reached from here by a pleasant 20-minute walk. In addition, there are also recreational opportunities for rainy days at the accommodation: Netflix, board games, hot tub in the garden, sauna in the neighboring building (2 euros/20 minutes). I highly recommend it to everyone, the best accommodation we've ever been to!

Super nice, very clean place. Great location, sauna, hot tub, trampoline, barbecue area - wood 🪵 dartboard… everything there!! We lacked nothing. Thanks to Eva and Marco for the warm welcome. Bottle of sparkling wine with welcome letter 🫶🏻Marco and Eva were always available and have furnished the house with a lot of love. Coffee beans included and also many spices in the kitchen. Never experienced it yet. Sufficient towels - bathrobes - plenty of storage space. Absolute recommendation for great relaxing holidays in Austria🫶🏻 Top hosts!! Andreas' log cabin is a beautiful place to stay and offers plenty of space for a family of four. Although we were only in Brettl for three nights, thanks to the great location, this short stay felt like a longer vacation. On the terrace, you can sit very comfortably, two large trees provide pleasant shade, and all around you are surrounded by beautiful nature. For children, the large meadow is ideal for romping around, and you can even visit the neighboring cows. There is plenty to discover in the area and numerous excursion options – for example, the Ötscher, Lake Lunz, a stalactite cave and several beautiful swimming areas. The host Andreas responds very quickly and very nicely to the messages. I'm sure we'll be back!

This place is an absolute gem! My partner and I went here for our anniversary and we couldn’t be happier. The location is idyllic, private and quiet and the airbnb is an absolute dream, the wood fire sauna and the huge bathtub overlooking the meadows are definitely a highlight. We loved everything from the beautiful old record player to all the little details in the accommodation such as bath salts, a variety of sauna oils, homemade pumpkin oil. The host was very friendly and helpful, she recommended great hikes and restaurants. 100% recommended especially if you are looking for a romantic nature getaway. Thank you for having us and we would love to come back in the future.

We were 9 + baby in the accommodation, this is very rural, i.e. it was always very quiet. The decor of the house was very rustic and cozy, lots of wood :) you feel very comfortable. Cooking in the kitchen was not a problem, everything you need was there. Very large garden with beautiful terrace and other seating options, there is also table tennis in the garden, which we used extensively :D Shopping only a few minutes away by car, we also used the mini golf course, which was about 15 minutes away by car. The communication with Larissa was very pleasant :) She responds very quickly and answers all questions at any time. If we had to name a shortcoming, it might just be that the grill in the outdoor area is very small for 10 people (2 normal-sized grill cups fit in). We really enjoyed our weekend and highly recommend the accommodation! Thank you!! :)

From the moment we turned down the two track lane leading to Danube Dreamin’ we knew we were in for a special treat. It was everything Margit and Luis describe in their listing and much more. The cottages’ interesting features and artworks conveyed both a heightened sense of place and a sense of the host’s personalities. In addition to the the listed amenities (like the well equipped kitchen), our hosts generously provided farm fresh eggs, home made apricot jam and a bottle of local white wine. We prepared all our breakfasts and dinners there in the kitchen and dined at each of the special indoor and outdoor areas. Though tempted to just stay and enjoy the Danube Dreamin ambiance, we struck out, exploring the Wachau from Melk to Krems. As with the original Airbnb concept, Luis checked in with us after we had settled in, welcoming us and sharing perspectives on the cottage, Wachau, and life. We felt we made an immediate connection with Luis. We hope to be Danube Dreamin again soon!
