Our 2 bedroom cottage is set on our 200 hectare stud cattle property. Our home is 50m away. The cottage is low set and has soul soothing mountain views of the Brisbane Valley. The attention to detail put into not only the accomodation itself, but the whole experience, was 100/10. The way it was organised and decorated was simple but thoughtful and luxurious. We loved the modern farmhouse aesthetic, the friendly neighbour-cows that paid us a visit, and so much more! The location, host, and accommodation far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back in the future! A few more things we greatly appreciated: -Complimentary breakfast basket with fresh baked bread -Firewood stacked and ready to go in the fireplace -110% cleanliness (it felt like we walked into a model home!) -Easy to use, and cozy coffee corner -Clear instructions on everything without even needing to ask! -Clear communication with prompt response times If you are looking to get away and disconnect, we highly recommend!!!

We will definitely be back! The Quarters at Firebreak is our new favourite place. This was the most relaxing, luxurious and tranquil retreat we have ever visited. Every creature comfort ( and then some!) was provided. The spectacular, ever changing vista, the complete serenity, the bird life, the sunset, the view from the decadent bathtub on the verandah, the privacy, the incredible, star filled night sky from down by the fire pit, whiskey by the fireplace on the comfy couch. The carefully curated interior design, right down to the signature scent, the matching bathrobes, flax linen sheets and comfiest bed ever! Everything was perfect and worth every cent. We had a beautiful couple of days here! Our animal and truck loving toddler had the absolute best time; the private yard is perfect and the views were beautiful. So many gorgeous and friendly animals kept us all happy too. The cottage was perfect for us, spacious and clean and very comfortable. Thank you for being generous and responsive hosts. What a lovely little village. Lots of walking, biking, craft and home design shops. A couple of amazing restaurants. Artisan bakery. Great pub meals. John’s house was perfect for our family. Spacious and comfortable within a 7-10 minute walk of the village square. We were attending a country wedding and had plenty to enjoy across the whole weekend. Definitely recommend for a weekend getaway. Pre book myrtille restaurant as it is booked out well in advance.
