Vacation rentals with lake access in Emmet County

We loved our stay at Stephanie's! She was a wonderful host and was very responsive for any of our questions. The home was quiet and peaceful and only a short walk away from the lake. Definitely would return!

This was an amazing place to see northern Michigan. The place was clean, organized and had more than enough amenities provided! James and Dawn are wonderful hosts!

Exceeded expectations. Close to Boyne Mountain. Kitchen was stocked better than any other rental I’ve stayed in. We would definitely stay there again!

The cabin was cozy and had great views. Parking is a bit limited if you have more than one vehicle but we made it work. Robert was great at responding to all my questions. There was also plenty of staples like salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towel etc. I would definitely rent this place again.

We absolutely loved staying here!! Everything was exactly how it was described in the listing! The place was clean and comfy. Bigger than I expected too, which was nice. The bunk bed room was awesome with a lot of fun books and puzzles. Especially loved how it was decorated. We enjoyed the beautiful location with the peaceful water. This is a great location to be to make fun day trips to Petosky and Charlevoix. Only regret was that we had to leave to come home!

A delightful cottage on the Bluffs of Lake Michigan. You can hear the waves from the deck. The home was very clean and comfortable and perfect for our stay. We would highly recommend Lizzie’s home.

Great house. Very responsive hosts. We visited places to the west and east so it was a great central location for us.

We stayed over a week and the apartment was clean, comfortable and well located. Warning about church bells from two churches across the street; the church bells every hour from 6am. I happen to like church bells but my husband does NOT so that was tough for him.

So happy I can be the first to review this place. We booked it last minute for a half marathon I was running over Memorial weekend. When my husband and I arrived everything matched the description. Since she knew we were not arriving till later at night she left some treats to munch on if we were hungry when we arrived, Starbucks coffee, and everything was super clean and pretty. The studio apartment is perfect for 2 people. The decor is light and airy and has a beautiful view of the lake the apartment complex is on. In general it was quieter while we were there, but I'm not sure if that is normal or if it gets busier during the height of tourist season. A couple nights we could hear our neighbors next door so I don't think the walls are super thick. A pair of earplugs may be good to bring. It is close to downtown Petoskey, Lake Michigan, and Petoskey State park. Overall we loved our stay and would come again if in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the boathouse. It is our third visit and it never disappoints. The boathouse was clean and cozy. Pam and Dave are lovely hosts.

We enjoyed our stay. This room was perfect for a few night stay, had basic kitchen amenities, Roku worked well, couch and lighting gave it cozy feel. Room was very clean, good use of small space. Great location. Communicative hosts. We would stay again.

John and his wife were both extremely nice and welcoming! My friend and I didn’t realize how bad the mosquitos are there this time of year so John gave us bug spray to use after he turned on the fire pit for us to enjoy. Beautiful lot as well, highly recommend!

Everything was absolutely amazing. They were flexible, accommodating, and understanding. The place is absolutely beautiful, just don’t forget to pack a sweatshirt as it gets a bit chillier than we expected at night. Great place to stay and hoping to go back soon!

Great host. In town for a soccer tournament and it fit our needs perfectly. The view was perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee on the deck. Thanks Todd!

The location is very peaceful. Pam's place was exactly as described - very clean and quaint. We used it as a home base while we enjoyed the area. Petoskey is only a half hour away which offers even more dining and shopping options outside of Charlevoix itself. Pam offered many different options in the Charlevoix area itself too. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at The Dollhouse. It’s a charming little place, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from a beautiful nature preserve and the pristine dunes of Lake Michigan. Sunsets were awesome along the beach and there were hardly any other people when we were there (early June). Linda was a fantastic host, friendly and provided all the amenities we needed and more. It’s very close to downtown Charlevoix and a great spot to stay while exploring the area. I’d highly recommend!

Mark & Mary are always great hosts. We were a little confused by the heating system and Mary very quickly reached out to ensure we were in good shape, even decently late. When a snow storm came and temperatures plunged, Mark was quick to come and salt the sidewalks. Always responsive and kind, will be visiting again.

We had a wonderful stay on Crooked Lake! The house was beautiful. Being right on the water was an incredible experience—watching swans, cranes, ducks, woodpeckers, and other birds made it feel like a peaceful retreat. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the fireplace added a cozy touch to our evenings. The hot tub was a highlight—we thoroughly enjoyed unwinding in it while taking in the serene surroundings. Marc and Mitch were excellent hosts, always responsive and helpful. When we encountered a plumbing issue, they immediately contacted a contractor to inspect and resolve it, which we truly appreciated. The location of the home was fantastic! It was close to several wonderful cities, allowing us to explore Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Forest Beach, Middle Village, Good Hart, Cross Village, and Mackinaw City. One of the best parts of our trip was driving the scenic Tunnel of Trees along the coastline—it was breathtaking!

Overall a great stay. Convenient location to downtown. Had everything we needed. Fireplace and heated floor in living room were nice features on cold winter nights. Odd configuration for bedrooms, walking through one to get to the other. We’re family so it was fine but if we weren’t, could be a bit awkward. Loved the lake view! Neighborhood was quiet.. would recommend.

This beautiful cabin was the perfect setting for our retreat. The home is situated right on Paradise Lake with easy access to the water. The location is also incredibly close to the upper peninsula and made day trips to local landmarks easy. The rooms were clean, cozy, and spacious enough for a four person group and dog. We would absolutely book this cabin again.
