The Drentse Rust

2 nights minimum stay. 7 nights in juli and augustus. The garden-house is located in the fairytale-like garden. It is a detached house of ca. 30 m2, has 1 large bedroom, a kitchenette with cooking plate, magnetron and airfryer, a private bathroom and small terras. Breakfast? For 15 Euro pp / day we will bring a basket with breakfast to your little house. Usually bread, butter, cheese, meat, vegetables, yoghurt, self-made fruit-salad and orange juice. Vegetarian or vegan is of course possible.

Cozy Drentse sod hut

Sleeping in a sod hut, that's what we do for fun these days. But that used to be different here. A sod hut was inhabited by the poorest workers at the end of the 19th century. It looks like a roof on the ground. Nowadays we call that: super cozy! In our large, cozy garden, there is a romantic Drenthe sod hut with three beds. Decorated in old Dutch style, this accommodation revives bygone times. This sod hut is furnished for two adults and two children.

The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small village on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe, there are forests, fields, heaths, country roads, fens, burial mounds and megalithic tombs. Many cycling and hiking routes run through Valthe that give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request, a crib/child's bed can be placed.

Our beautiful spacious farm is located in the middle of the woods. Nearby are numerous hiking and cycling routes, and the farm is only 10 minutes by bike from the lively center of Emmen. The farmhouse features 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds made up for you. Each room has its own shower and toilet. The large open kitchen has a cozy bar, and outside is a nice garden with lots of privacy. In short, a lovely house for a family or small group.

This beautiful and fully furnished vacation cottage (5 people) offers a beautiful view over the Drenthe countryside. The cottage is within cycling distance of Wildlands Adventure Zoo, Het Veenpark and the new IJstijden Fietspad. The cottage has 5 beds, but the space is better suited for 4 people or a family with 3 small children. The 2nd bedroom is only accessible through the 1st bedroom. Completely equipped with central heating.
