Rose Cottage(dog friendly) - West Fallodon

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Rose cottage with our children and dog, and we thought this was excellent value for a week during the school half-term holidays. The cottage is homely and very well equipped -kitchen utensils, crockery, pans etc all good quality, plus a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding was all crisp white, new pillows and white towels. The bathroom is clean and white and has an electric power shower. The fenced garden is a lovely sheltered sun trap with plenty of seating (comfy chairs as well as the picnic table in listing photos) with a nicely maintained lawn. Jamie was an excellent host, friendly and approachable, gave us some excellent tips including Embers pizza in Embleton. The welcome package was perfect- including delicious fresh bread from the Embleton village farm shop. Worth noting the cottage is one of three- this would be perfect for multiple families travelling together but each wanting their own space.

Driftwood Cottage Coastal Escape

BeverleyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A beautiful cottage in a stunning and peaceful location. There were glorious views at both the front and back of the cottage. The fabulous garden was an added bonus. We were lucky to have very nice weather so we were out walking every day. Although we were surrounded by fields it was only a short walk to the beach so we had the best of both worlds. We had a relaxing retreat at the end of the day and could choose to have an invigorating shower or a soak in a very large bath. The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped. We didn’t need to use the log fire but it would be a very cozy addition on cooler evenings. The sun room at the front of the property is a great space to enjoy a coffee and relax.

The View: idyllic and remote off-grid cabin

EmilyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Really lovely place and so unique. Location is perfect and so private. Facilities are good considering they are basic and the shower was great. Very clean. Could do with a fresh lick of paint but overall an amazing stay, we already want to rebook.

This house is perfect for a group of friends or 2 families. The house was spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a home away from home holiday. The hot tub and table tennis are a great bonus. Beadnell is the perfect location for relaxing, beach and water sports, good pubs and lovely walks.

Cosy log fire and beach walks at The Old Smithy

Linda JRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely week at Becky’s place. As this was our “doggy” holiday it was perfect for three adults and three dogs. There’s loads of room inside and the outside area is secure for the dogs. St Oswald’s Way is a few minutes stroll and it’s an easy walk along the coastal path to Alnmouth, Boulmer and their lovely beaches. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding and pillows lovely. We visited our favourite eateries - Bertram’s in Warkworth for lunch and Rossini in Amble for dinner so can recommend them both. The Old Smithy is in a great location and the property ideal so we hope to return sometime.
A light-filled bedroom features a spacious King size bed with decorative pillows. A dressing table and bedside tables are placed beside the bed. Double doors open to a balcony, offering views of the surrounding area. A television and soft furnishings complete the inviting space.

Haven Cottage

SusannahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
You can’t beat this setting- overlooking stunning Embleton beach and so much to do on foot from the house. We loved seeing the barn owl hunting on the field opposite each evening, and loved going to the fabulous ship inn and walking to Craster. Thank you for a brilliant stay.
