Monthly Rentals in Elizabeth River

Stayed about six months while working between Tennessee and Virginia. This place saved me a lot of money and was nice to be close to the beach. It’s an area going through revitalization with new shops and restaurants opening all the time. Host was always helpful and prompt.

At first, the Airbnb wasn’t exactly what I expected, it’s a bit older and has a rustic feel. But after staying here for over a month, I’ve really grown to appreciate the place and the host. Angela was so kind and always quick to respond if we needed anything. For example, when we had an issue with the fridge, she handled it right away and made sure we were taken care of. I loved how easy it was to get in and out of the house with the keyless entry system (no worrying about losing a key!), and the fact that it was pet-friendly was such a bonus. My dog loved the backyard which was a great space and so convenient. Overall, my spouse and I are happy with our stay. The host really made the experience so much better with her attentiveness and care. We’re super thankful for everything she did to make us feel comfortable!

Whitney was extremely accommodating as I had to make multiple changes to the reservation. She was willing to work with me and was very responsive. She was also responsive to any issues or questions and was proactive in communicating about trash collection and yard maintenance days. The home had everything we needed for a basic stay while we were waiting to move into our house during a military PCS. I always appreciate a well-equipped kitchen!! It is worth noting for those with dogs that the fenced yard is not accessible from inside the home and must be accessed through the outdoor gate. The neighborhood was busy with many cars parked on the street and occasionally had base noise late at night. The home was conveniently located to major highways, grocery stores, shopping centers, and was easy to find and access.
