If we could give the castle 10 stars, we would! None of us wanted to leave. The castle with view and surroundings was beautiful and peaceful. Our kids loved learning the history of the castle and of Spain in general from Marc, the host. Marc was always available with anything we needed. We hiked 3 trails from the castle which Marc recommended and we loved them all. The kids enjoyed exploring the castle and property around the castle. They all say it’s the best place we’ve ever stayed! Thank you Marc! We hope to come back one day!:)

The hosts Jordi and Dolors were very kind and always ready to help us when we needed it. The house is located in a beautiful setting, Prullans, and although it is very small, it has a lot of charm. The cleanliness of the house was exceptional, everything was impeccable. It was a magnificent experience.

Great place to stay for active individuals as well as families with small kids. We really enjoyed a longer weekend at Ingrid's place. Ingrid provided useful tips on where we could visit with a toddler without much hassle. The surroundings are beautiful and accessible with a car. ⸻ We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Corral de l’Esquirol for three nights as part of our post-wedding getaway and it was pure magic. The house is tucked away in peaceful Basturs, surrounded by the stunning nature of the Geoparc. It felt like a true escape from the world. Christina was a wonderful host: warm, responsive and thoughtful. She arranged a late check-in and left a local cheese in the fridge as a welcome gift. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Ramon, one of the neighbours, even brought us fresh eggs and salad from his garden. The house is beautiful, spotless, cosy and full of charm. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were super comfy and the views from the bedroom balcony were unforgettable. We loved having coffee there while watching eagles and vultures soar overhead. There’s plenty to explore nearby and shops are just a short drive away. We left feeling grateful and already know we’ll be back.

This was our second time here, and it was just as perfect (if not more, with some improvements on the property this time too) as the last time. Nikolai was very friendly and helpful in welcoming us in, too. The space is up-to-date, unique, relaxing, and has gorgeous views. Something we really appreciate about this location are all the local wildlife (bunnies, all kinds of bird species), and especially in May all of the wildflowers. We can only hope to come back again!
