Pet-friendly vacation rentals in El Jardín

We kicked off our honeymoon in Costa Rica at Axel's place for 4-nights. When we arrived, it was the evening so it was dark out. The following morning we were totally blown away by the beauty of this lovely farm! Gorgeous green trees, flowers, monsteras, & mountains are surrounding you. The view is spectacular (even when it is raining or cloudy). The house has hammocks to relax in, a kitchen equipped with everything you need to make a delicious meal, a very comfy bed, and views to die for! Toucan-spotting over coffee in the morning was a highlight. Axel was not only a great host but a lovely person to chat with! If you are looking for a more remote Costa Rican experience, this is the place for you. Highly recommend and are definitely planning to come back to this wonderful place! Thanks again Axel!!

This is a fantastic home to stay in for airport arrivals and departures, or if interested in visiting Alajuela's churches and museums and the surrounding mountains and Volcan Poas. It certainly is full of personality and every amenity you could need. We enjoyed it so very much, we will definitely return as we live in Costa Rica and are frequently in and out of the airport at twilight hours (we've already rebooked for later this year). The home is quiet, spacious, colorful and safe. Thank you Kenneth & team for thinking of every needed item!

The gardens were a wonderfully peaceful respite. It was like taking a vacation while on vacation. The room was great, as described, and even had a dehumidifier available. The property is away from the city (we were able to Uber in and out of the city without too much issue - just a delay in finding a driver one night. We loved exploring and having our morning coffee in the gardens. We didn’t meet Phil, and we weren’t able to get a gate opener for our stay, but it worked out OK with two of us (one to drive the car and the other to get out and operate the gate).

Great place! Just like the photos. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities. The shower water was cold but I have gotten used to that in travelling that not every place has the warmest shower water but definitely not a big deal! Everything else worked great, love the private big gate to make the property feel tucked away and private. You can hear running water in the creek or river that's down below which is lovely to listen to. We didn't get a chance to walk down. I love C.R. and plan to be back and would 100% stay here again.

A absolute privilege to spend a few days here as a family. A gem of a house that felt immediately like a home. We loved the quirks and the passion for enjoyment. Top of our price range but to us it was worth every penny. Thank you Tucker.

This was our first time in Costa Rica and we cannot wait to be back. We’d stay here again, especially loved the proximity to the beach, the daily cleaning of our cool space, beautiful grounds and staff who helped with everything from umbrellas and parking to getting groceries and pinpointing just the right tours for our group with elementary aged kids. (Pro Tip- the night tour they booked for us with shuttle and dinner to Rainmaker was a hit!)

The location and the tower were incredible, many options to eat nearby and the pool was very nice. The apartment itself was a little tight for 3 people but very nice and well maintained. The only thing is that there is no air conditioning and it was very hot. The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but everything else was great!

Gabriel is a great host, very proactive and responsive. The surroundings have plenty restaurants and it's easy to get around, and the place itself is very private. Very recommendable.

Staying at Jaim's was fantastic. So much peace and such a safe complex. You could sleep perfectly. The kitchen is also equipped with everything you could imagine. The communication was ideal, we also got a lot of help to book a tour nearby. We would come back. 10/10!

My mom and I had a wonderful time here! We really enjoyed having a quiet place to our self, giving lots of opportunity to explore Costa Rica! We loved the pool and outdoor kitchen! Even with any rain we were able to cook no issues. Francisco was very helpful and always responded very quickly to any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Jorge is a 5 Star Host . Right from the beginning its was easy to communicate with him . The Appartement is located on the 18 th floor with a stunning view over San Jose.All daily necessary items you need in the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom were present. His accommodation is furnished stylishly and super clean. On the 25 th floor is the rooftop shared infinity pool with an expensive view as well . The quarters are located centrally with restaurants , bars , shops , supermarket and points of interest nearby. It was such a pleasure to stay in Jorge’s Apartment, always and forever again 😘Lars

The location of the cabin is perfect, apart from that it is super equipped with everything!!! Even an air fryer. It's small but perfect, and if we add the million stars that can be seen thanks to the low light pollution, and listening to the wind in the trees, it's priceless. I recommend it a thousand times!!

This was the best place Ive ever been while booking my stay in this platform. The whole stay felt like a fairytale, the place is perfect for families looking for quality time. the town is very peaceful and the place too, of course. Great attention to detail and the hosts were so loving and kind.

This cabin was a great place. The space is perfect for a large group (we were 12 people). The area is really peaceful and it is a great place to relax. Kitchen has everything you need, the social area is great for a BBQ and the place overall is really cozy and welcoming. would definitely come back!

I love the cabin and that they have so many flower gardens and fruit trees. It's cold but the good thing is that it can be fixed with a sweater or by turning on the heater. If I had a cabin, I'd like it to be as private as this one. We felt very comfortable while we were there. It is a very cozy place.

A special place, with spectacular views and well built, the Yurt is a rare architectural experience in CR. The wooden jacuzzi is an excellent experience that provides a contrast of temperatures and privacy. The place is equipped with everything you need for a romantic stay for two people, the bed has an electric heater that we love. The kitchen is well equipped, we had the opportunity to make a full breakfast and enjoy the view with a coffee made in a coffee machine The Yurt is located on a metal structure on top of a plot of land, this allows an excellent view but you have to keep in mind that from where you leave the car parked (inside the property) to the Yurt, you have to walk and part of that path includes about 50m of steps that can become tiring especially if you climb with suitcases or food, this path is not covered, you can get wet if it is raining, but the steps are concrete and have solar lamps
