Everything luxurious. You will have access to a large barn with billiards and football table games. The house is located 50 meters from the sea. You will also have access to a jetty by the sea for sunbathing and swimming (50 m from the house). The place is very northern lights friendly. 15 minutes walk brings you to a great shopping center.

In Hovden there is little light pollution and it provides good opportunities to see the northern lights in the period August to March. The midnight sun lasts from mid-May to mid-July, a few weeks before and after this period the nights are as bright as the days.

Grandma's house from the 50s with sea view

Welcome to Farmorhuset in Nykvåg, in the middle of beautiful Vesterålen. The house was built in 1954 and combines nostalgic 50s style with today's amenities for a comfortable stay. I have inherited this house from my father, who in turn inherited it from his mother, and it has therefore been important for me to preserve the soul and history of the house. Farmorhuset has three bedrooms with a total of four beds, which makes the house perfect for both small families and groups of friends.

You'll love my place because of the central location in the Vesterålen region, Lofoten and Harstad, the kitchen, the outdoor area, the neighborhood, the light, the comfortable bed. My place is good for couples, lone travelers, and furry friends (pets). It is also a quiet and peaceful area, without the big traffic noise as this is not by the main road. Quiet neighborhood.

Our cosy countryside cabin is for rent. The cabin lays in a farmyard with great view over lovely farmland and lake. It is a perfect base for leisure activities such as bicycling, sea kayaking, hiking and fishing or to just relax and play in the garden. In wintertime (from September) you will have the opportunity to spectacular views of the northern light just outside the cabin. In the barn there are both pool and ping-pong at your disposal.
