OVENDEN LODGE is a rural smallholding with horses and chickens , surrounded by open paddocks. It is situated off Main North Road at the southern entrance to historic Gawler. We offer a self-contained "granny flat" alongside the main house that is ideal for a quiet, private retreat for 1-2 adults, complete with cedar hot tub and sauna. Unfortunately, due to the ponds and animals on the property, Ovenden Lodge is NOT suited for children. Dogs and ponies are welcome by individual prior arrangement.

Schomburgk Cottage- Gawler- private, cozy, unique.

This romantic place to stay offers a history all its own. Come and experience what is believed to be the barn which has been converted into a cozy and private space for two. We have tried to retain as many historic features of the cottage while making sure it is modern and comfortable. We still have a lot to do and will continuing works between guests. The cottage has a quirky attic bedroom accessed by a steep set of stairs. Very much like a tiny house. Please keep that in mind when booking.

I had a wonderful stay at Lidija’s loft. Communication was clear and everything was perfectly organised. Check-in was smooth with easy-to-follow instructions, and the place was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Lidija was thoughtful and made sure we had a few nice touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. Even though we didn’t meet, I really appreciated how well everything was set up. Seriously great value for such a spacious and private studio. What a great find! The place is well equipped with what travelers need, clean and comfortable. Thanh is very friendly and welcoming with nice personal touches. Highly recommended.

We loved staying in Richard and Caroline’s home. They are so friendly and we felt at home instantly. The suburb of Hawthorndene is so beautiful abd close to Belair National Park where I spotted some koalas and an echidna!! I would live to come back someday :)
