Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Eastern Province

Dimuthu was a great host. The moment we enter the place he gave us a small tour and took us to a private waterfall next to the house. He was kind enough to show us around, recommend restaurants and tuk drivers. His family was always nice and we even got some food one day, really friendly people. The house itself looks like the pictures, it is really spacious, there’s a fish tank!, it’s a really peaceful place to stay. My favourite part was the privacy of the place, just accompanied by puppies, monkeys and fireflies. It was a pleasant stay and Dimuthu was a great host.

Our stay at Uschi & Anith’s property in Ella was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. Uschi was abroad during our stay and very communicative when we made our booking. Ajith was in Ella and we cannot emphasise how special he made our trip. The home is located in the mountains with the most incredible views (& peacocks!) It’s very peaceful, quiet & perfect for slow mornings or days around the house if you’re looking to relax. Ajith’s family cooked meals for us at the house when requested, and the local gardener who takes care of the house is very kind and respectful. Over our 5 day stay, Ajith made sure all of our tuktuk’s were organised at a very good price, since you need one to access the property. He seems to know everyone in town and gave us the most incredible tips & suggestions based on what we wanted out of our time in Ella. We were so well looked after & it was truly a highlight to spend time & learn from Ajith and to see the town through his eye :)

Awesome Place was exactly that... awesome. between the stunning view, the pristine , quiet surrounds and the wonderful villa, this was a dream. 6 of us travelled here for some serenity and we found it. Krishan was a fantastic host in the restaurant and took good care of us. come for the view, stay for the food, atmosphere and team working here. a dream

We loved our stay in this clean and compact studio apartment. There is a beautiful view over the valley. We also really valued being outside of the hustle and bustle of Ella while still having easy access to the town - we had our own tuktuk making getting up and down very easy. It's a decent walk up and downhill if you don't have a vehicle, although there are also plenty of cafes and restaurants easy access along the road. You can also eat entirely at the Airbnb and the food was excellent. Host was easy to communicate with - we would highly recommend a peaceful stay here 💚

We had al lovely time at Amila’s place. The place is huge, very nice for kids, lots of room to play. Amila is extremely friendly and helpful, drove us around a couple of times and taught us everything about his garden. His knowledge of plants and fruits is remarkable. We were treated to fresh fruits daily and got a tour of his extensive garden. It is a little out of town, although close to the Nine Arches Bridge, so you could walk it if you like. Because we have kids we asked Amila to drop us off and pick us up. Highly recommend!

Everything was Perfect

We had a great stay in Nuwara Eliya. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The property matched the photos with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The food was good overall, but it’s worth proactively guiding the staff on your preferences rather than relying entirely on their suggestions. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We booked Cheshan's place in less than 12 hours before arriving. The host quickly replied to our questions. He and the caretaker were very helpful and agreed to take our luggage for storage before checking in. The place itself is lovely and within walkable distance to the center and the lake. The apartment is in the new building with underground parking and a pub nearby. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this apartment for fellow travelers.

We had a dream stay, thanks in large part to Najeem. The place was in a GREAT location, near Arugam Bay's Main Road. Najeem's property is a small haven of peace, relaxing, quiet, clean and exotic, and only 2 minutes from the beach and many restaurants, bars, surf rentals etc... I highly recommend Najeem and her house! His hospitality really touched us and allowed us to have a great time! Go there without a second thought!

If you are considering to book this place, just do it. They are the most welcoming people and really want to make the best out of your stay. The view is just incredible. Sunset as well as sunrise are impressive from up there. The house is such an experience as well. Just don’t expect a 5 star hotel vibe - but then you will simply love this place. (And the food - delivered by a chef from the town „closeby“ - was the best of my entire time Sri Lanka). I wish everyone could have this experience

Great place to be honestly not that far from the beach which is quite lively. Caretaker and the owner both are quite responsive and understanding. Kitchen is completely available for a nominal fees which is good plus point.
