Acadian Home

Enjoy your stay near the Acadian shores in our spacious, breezy, fully renovated historic Acadian home. Originally built in 1837, this home has been brought up to today's expectations for comfort, functionality and environmental sustainability. It sleeps 5. There is also an inflatable air mattress - double and pump and space to accommodate two extra guests. Rustic, and undergoing minor renovations, but a very cozy, clean place to stay. The Lake is clean and great for swimming! Full kitchen with most everything, an outdoor fire pit for nice nights, and a piano for rainy days. Heat pump, BBQ, fibre op, & Roku TV. Off grid cabins on Kegeshook lake, Quinan

Two off grid cabins on Kegeshook lake. Drive into a long tree covered winding driveway in a hard wood forest and arrive at the first cabin. This cabin is fully equipped with running hot water, solar power, propane, and generator backup. Living quarters include bathroom with shower, small kitchen, queen size bed and a double size pull out couch. Down a path towards the lake is the second cabin which is suitable for reading, relaxing, or hanging out on the deck overlooking the lake.

Enjoy morning lattes on the timber-frame porch, beachcomb and surf at the nearby beach, bike to the local wharf, unwind with a wood-fired sauna and cold plunges in the creek, write songs or poems on the piano or typewriter, get creative in the converted school bus studio, or simply sit by the wood stove with a good book or a tasty drink.

Star gaze from the hot tub, grab a book and relax the a hammock under the birch trees or take a bike ride(bikes provided) along the Barrington Trail. The property has direct access to the trail which is great for walks, runs, bicycles and atvs. It also connects with the sidewalk in town which leads right to North East Point Beach. *Pet friendly upon request

We would like to share this piece of our paradise with you, located on a peaceful, crystal clear lake. Acres of land, a sandy beach hidden behind a well-groomed property sprinkled with beautiful tall trees disappearing into the Acadian forest. Includes: private hot tub and firepit, shared sauna, cold plunge, lake access, public wood fired hot tub (great for groups when booking one than more cabin) canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, sandy beach, floating mat and more.

We are currently building on/renovating to add a larger living room, fireplace and an additional bedroom. I have the dates starting on September open for bookings. No cleaning fee!! The location says Tusket, it’s Quinan on Lake Kegeshook. The cottage is a farmhouse style with white walls, lots of windows and high ceilings allowing for great light. A remote location, quiet and perfect for relaxing. Only a 20 mins drive in from the Tusket exit and 35 minutes to Yarmouth.
