The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

The Lake House

Heliconia Grove is a beach cottage with plenty to offer, only two streets back from the beach front. Enjoy the outdoor bath with an evening wine or a morning coffee. The large yard is fully fenced and safe for all the family to enjoy including your furry friends. Only a short 10-min drive to Woolworths, local bars and cafes. If you want the full Island experience, be sure to catch the 20min ferry transfer from Clump Point to Dunk Island.

Just a 100 meter stroll to beautiful South Mission Beach and close access to coastal walking tracks and rainforest trails. Our simple, comfy retro shack has everything you need for a chilled out beachside stay. You can even bring your boat, there's plenty of room for a boat trailer on our block and river and beach boat ramps close by.
