We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was exceptionally clean both inside and out, with some luxurious touches that truly enhanced our experience. The peaceful and relaxing setting made it an ideal retreat for our family. The home is located in a very quiet, rural area—which adds to the tranquility—but keep in mind that it’s quite remote. There aren’t many nearby activities outside of enjoying the fishing pond and feeding the horses. The closest Walmart is about 30 minutes away, so plan ahead for groceries and essentials. For those using the home’s speaker system, be aware that you’ll need to download the Sonos app. We were only able to get the kitchen speakers working during our stay. Also, due to ants and flies, we recommend not leaving food out in the kitchen.

I am from Kennett, and just needed a nostalgic refresher of my roots, and boy did this hidden treasure pay off. I had a weeklong stay of peace and quiet, and a lovely revisiting of that rejuvenating flatland: a trip across an ocean of memory. Carolyn, and her trusty canine cohorts, Enoch and Chuck, provided me with a list of eateries, that were utterly delightful. She also answered within minutes, to any question I had. Thanks for the memories.
