Vacation rentals with lake access in Dunham

This place was a perfect get away; peaceful, cozy and with a view! The hosts were responsive and friendly. The location has necessities close to it by car and it’s not too far away from Burlington if you need a bit more. The house was very clean - our only comment would be that there was a bit of a musty odour to the place. We would definitely return if we’re ever back in Vermont!

Peaceful, beautiful and quiet, will definitely go again

It's a beautiful and quiet place. We didn't enjoy the pedal boat, BBQ and outdoor fire even though they were very easy to access. On the other hand, we enjoyed the stunning views of the lake, the hard-working little beaver and the little roe deer that came to visit us the first morning...Beautiful...😍

Clean, bright, well appointed and decorated. Comfortable couch and beds. Well equipped kitchen. Nice outdoor deck and beautiful landscaping. Convenient location- 5 minute drive to Sutton or to the ski hill. Monic was a responsive host and met us at check-in to give us a tour of the space and how to use the appliances. It is helpful to note that both the bedroom and bathroom located in the upstairs loft are partially open to the floor below. So while you may not be able to see anyone in the loft when you are below, you would be able to hear them especially any bathroom sounds. This was not a problem as it was just the 2 of us. We were disappointed that charging our EV using the outdoor outlet was discouraged by the host. Fortunately there were 2 EV charging stations in town, but it is still nice to be able to charge at the house. It was also disappointing that my husband was told to keep his high-end road bike outdoors and while we were told thefts are rare, it was still a risk.

We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s house very much. There were 6 of us; my family and my brother’s. The house was very cozy with an open kitchen and living room space with high ceilings. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and many things we didn’t expect like breakfast foods, coffee, etc. The two bathrooms were both spotless and had lots of nice soft towels. The outdoor furniture was very nice and new and the property is private and nicely maintained. A few of us also enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake directly across the street. We were attending a family reunion at a house on the same street so the location was extremely convenient. We liked this house so much we would like to book again for our future reunions.

Steve's place is spacious and welcoming. It has all necessary amenities and more. There were 8 of us traveling with 4 adults and 4 kids. The place was big enough for all of us, and the kids had a lot of fun playing in the basement. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to feed our group, from making lots of coffee in the morning to having a quiet dinner at night. The drive to Bromont Mountain was quick and easy, which made it very convenient to ski with the kids. We would recommend Steve's cottage and come back again.

Steve’s house is absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect place for my family and I to spend some seldom quality time together in celebration of myself graduating from Norwich University. The hot tub was a great amenity to have since the weather was still a little chilly. It was secluded enough we had time to just relax together but also close enough to places we still felt like we could go out and do something without wasting the day in the car. The master bedroom is where I stayed and the view is unbeatable. Would absolutely stay here again!

This was one of our favorite airbnb stays ever. For the birders out there, there's a ton to see right outside the apartment, and we spent a ton of time just looking out over the lake and the mountains. A charming location. Plenty of space for two people over six days. We would love to return.

This was my second stay, and once again it was absolutely perfect. The host is incredibly kind and helpful—he goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. The property itself is straight out of a dream... right on the lake, peaceful, and beautifully kept. I’ve stayed at a lot of places, but this one feels like home—and honestly, it's my dream home. Can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, top-notch getaway.

Great spot to explore Knowlton. Several good restaurants nearby and just a block from Louise Penny's bookstore! Super-easy check in and the unit was clean and spacious. Our weather wasn't the greatest which made the convenience of this place a big plus. Natalie was a great and responsive host.

Stayed here for a quick getaway to the Magog area with a day-trip to Montreal. Very close to the lake in a very walkable area, less than 500 meters from the lake and the main drag downtown. No complaints at all.

Visited Montreal with the girlfriend for couple days. Marilyne's place was perfect. Not too far from downtown. Quiet, peaceful, clean. Perfect for a little getaway Would recommend to others.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 5 days and loved it the entire time, it is hard to find a dog friendly place and our Bailey loved every second as well. Michael was very helpful and responded to every question I had quickly. The view is gorgeous. We would love to come back one day!

Absolutely magical stay 🤩⭐️⭐️ If you’re looking for an escape of the city this is the perfect place!! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely immersed in nature without sacrificing any comfort. The cabin was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could need. 🫧 Lisa is such a great host and she is always there for her guests and everything they could possibly need. 💯 If you’ve ever wondered what the real definition of a hidden gem is I would 1000% say it is this beautiful cottage. 😍 I would go back any day and I’ll definitely stay even longer next time because this is such an incredible getaway cottage.

Quiet cabin on Lake Champlain away from everything - just what we wanted! (Though stores in Plattsburg aren't that far a drive.) Nice, 3-season deck and fire pit overlooking the lake and a fireplace inside (with plenty of firewood) were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the down time. Nice music system, comfortable furniture and beds. Clean and well-stocked kitchen for cooking, drinks, etc. We would definitely go back for a longer stay. Francois was very amenable and communicative.

Stan and Jane’s place is the perfect getaway spot for your loved ones. It offers spectacular view of the lake while feeling isolated. The house is always clean and ready for your stay. Couldn’t recommend any higher!

Our stay at “ The Last Resort “ could not have been better. The house is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The perfect place for a quiet getaway, with a great view of the lake. Tonya’s place was clean and comfortable. It was quiet during the day and night, with the bonus of the gentle waves crashing just outside. We were lucky to find this place for a quick visit to St. Albans with easy access to Burlington. Communication with Tonya was prompt and friendly, and instructions for the home were straightforward. A good experience all around!

This house was perfect. It is exactly what you hope for in an Air Bnb. It was absolutely immaculate inside and anything you could need was already there. My family and I had work to do on land in the area and we booked this location as a resting spot after long days of work and I'm so happy we did. I cannot stress enough how nice it was to unwind at the end of the day and look out at Lake Memphremagog through the expansive windows, while playing games with my family. It was so wonderfully quiet and peaceful. I also want to thank Ally (and the owner) for allowing us to bring our dogs with us. They loved playing outside and looking out the windows at the lake and surrounding woods. For one of our dogs it was his last trip, as he has reached the age where traveling after this will not be feasible so it was great to see him so happy there. It was truly a wonderful stay and we encourage anyone reading this to book a stay here. Thank you again for everything Ally.
