Black Bear Lodge

We require 24 hours notice when booking. The lodge is 15 minutes from Fredericton city limits in Noonan approximately 2 km in the woods on a private road. It runs on solar and wind power with backup generator. We offer skating, snowshoeing, hiking and boating depending on the weather. Fishing is also offered at an additional cost. There is a stand up shower and sink in the bathroom with hot and cold water as well as a toilet, a propane stove and fridge in the kitchen. Woodstoves for heat.

Magnate Mactaquac's smallest a-frame, designed for two, with an option of sleeping a small child on the sleeper sectional. This cozy a-frame cabin is situated on Meadow Brook and directly beside Mactaquac Provincial Park. When given the opportunity, this is the perfect escape to view deer and wild turkeys! Take an adventure wheeling, snowmobiling, snowshoeing or hiking. End the day with a bonfire and star gazing or snuggle up by the indoor wood stove. You decide it's your vacation to enjoy!
