"Rest a While" Cabin

Welcome to "Rest a While" Cabin. We are located 5 minutes West of Kenora Ontario, close to several boat launches, beaches and hiking trails. Our lofted 12x24 foot cabin has a queen bed on the main level and another queen bed in the loft. The comfy love seat also reclines for added relaxation. BBQ and Outdoor dinning available in the warmer seasons. If the Airbnb calender does not accept your length of stay, message us and we will try to accommodate you with a custom solution if possible.

2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath. Downstairs bedroom has a single/double bunkbed. Upstairs bedroom is a loft with ladder to Queen bed. Lots of deck space, sauna, private dock, two screen rooms, fridge, propane oven, hydro electricity, wood stove for heat. Located in Quiet Bay, Shraggs Island on Lake of the Woods Ontario about 10 mins from town. One Cozy one bedroom cabin located on beautiful Winnipeg River and reasonable distance to downtown Kenora and to the TransCanada Highway. Fully equipped/furnished cabin, including wifi/satellite TV, all you have to bring is your personal effects. Simple and basic style. It is peaceful and surrounded by wildlife. The owners house and one other cabin is on the property. The cabin is in a rural area, but not secluded. Overall laid back atmosphere in a little piece of paradise.

Lake life on the Sturge

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay on beautiful Black Sturgeon Lake, 15 minutes from downtown Kenora. Sit at the dock, swim off the dock, take in the view off the point. Into fishing? Fish off the dock, or bring your own boat. Smaller boats have access to Winnipeg River over the rollers where you can try your luck at the walleye. Paddle boards and a canoe on site, life jackets available for use. Enjoy an outdoor fire at the fire pit, or a wood sauna.

Close proximity to Reddens (for full services and prepared foods and grocery/liquor shopping). Also close proximity to Rushing River Provincial Park for hiking and sand beach. Boat launch very close....Access to Lake of the Woods via boat lift on the West end of the lake (tokens for boat lift available at Reddens).

The Kingfisher is a freshly updates two bedroom, two ensuite bathroom lakeside cottage. Full kitchen with two steps down into Livingroom and dining area. We unfortunately do not have updated photos of the renovation they are forthcoming. Garden doors open onto the deck which overlooks Eagle Lake. Charcoal grill (need to bring own charcoal) and patio furniture make for a wonderful outdoor sitting area.
