Lisa is a very friendly host and provided me with all the necessary information. The room is huge and very clean, with a very comfortable double bed and cozy furniture. I felt at home. The house in general is located in a particularly quiet and peaceful area of Gent. It's easy to reach the city center on foot in a few minutes. I was very satisfied with everything and I will definitely be back.

The location was exceptional. A 9-minute walk into the heart of Ghent. And then you’re at the magnificent castle. It’s away from the bustle and especially the tourists (forgive me) who have a couple other squares where they congregate, but close enough to get to absolutely everything including two chocolatiers about 3 mins away! ( Very important if you’re in Belgium IMHO) I was greeted by Thierry’s son who then took me on a tour of the whole town. Wow! (And he’d just flown in from China earlier that day.) Real generosity of spirit. Bed and shower great and not just clean but super duper clean. The space is absolutely gorgeous and also well laid out. Some fun surprises, too. A pool table in the other “wing.” Loved my time there.

Ellen’s place is right in the heart of Gent with all the main attractions on your doorstep. Close to public transport and next to a very good coffee shop across the road. It was easy to find with clear instructions on check in/out. It was easy and relatively quick response times if I had any questions. Very clean, cozy and thoughtful amenities. The courtyard is a nice area that is peaceful to sit and relax after a long day of walking while you eat gelato. Good value for your own room and a perfect spot. I would highly recommend staying here and will come back again when visiting Gent again!

House on a quiet street. great beds in a spacious room, with air conditioning nice bathroom with nice rain shower. close to the Leie, walked there nicely. also close to restaurants and shops

Decent accommodation, smooth and pleasant communication by message with Leen. Check-in was done independently. Leen sent us the instructions by message with photos to explain everything. The accommodation is a rustic cabin at the bottom of the garden. It contains the necessary kitchen equipment, a bedroom and a shower. The toilets have a grinder so you should not throw toilet paper in the toilet but in a trash can next to it. The bed is not very nice, the mattress is very hard. Apart from that, we had a nice stay in this peaceful little neighborhood, there is a bike path 800 meters from the accommodation.

Beautiful guest house in a very nice and quiet area. Severine was the perfect hostess who was always available if we needed anything with questions. Time flew by and we felt like we were on vacation for a while. Everything was sparkling clean, tidy and everything you could think of was present. We hope to find the time to come back very soon!

Very pleasant place to say in the converted attic of an old farmhouse. The kitchen is excellently equipped, all in all the place is extremely nice. It is a bit off the beaten track; on the map the location looks closer to Ghent than the actual approach is, but on the plus side if you want a quiet place in a nature reserve, it is perfect. Bruno communicated extremely well and was overall a very helpful and accommodating host.

Karel's home is a beautiful space, with a calm vibe, & very clean. T3 Tram goes to city center & main train station (you can also walk & it'd take about 30 mins to reach the key city center locations). On the ground floor is an entry space, a toilet, & kitchen/living areas, which are shared use. You reach the first floor via traditional stairs, which are relatively steep/narrow. On that floor is the toilet for Airbnb-er to use, which is shared use. You then reach the second floor via another set of stairs: these are ladder-style stairs. The loft/attic bedroom has a big bed, desk, mini-fridge, and shower/sink areas (note that there is no toilet on the second floor with the bedroom). The bedroom is set up extremely well: skylights can be covered with one button for a great night's sleep, well-lit, plugs & cords, a quiet wall/mini-split AC, & spacious. It's clear that this space has been organized fully; I had a very comfortable stay & I'm very grateful for Karel's & Xavier's hospitality.
