Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Douglas Island

The host was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The house was large enough for my family of 8 with room to spare. The location was away from busy downtown but near to several attractions like the glacier. Compared to the hotels, it was a good price for the end of the summer season in Juneau. The available dryer was a huge blessing with all the rain!

We brought our dog to Juneau for surgery and William’s spot was the perfect place to hang out and watch movies for a few days while he recovered. William is an incredibly gracious and responsive host and we appreciated his quick responses to our questions, as well as his flexibility. The house is big, warm, comfy and clean. We loved the massive couch and big TV in the living room and greatly appreciated the ability to do laundry. The neighborhood is quiet and in a beautiful spot. We’re looking forward to taking the dog to check out the trail at the end of the road on our next visit.

Our stay at Diana's was very nice for several reasons! They were fast in responding, clear with instructions, and made us feel welcomed. The house has tons of space inside and out, and is nested perfectly alongside the woods but yet located conveniently between downtown and the valley. Love the inside stairs, the cute flickering lights on the wall, the rocking chair for gazing out the big beautiful windows, the cozy leather couch with the electric fireplace was awesome, and down to the comfy beds. The snowy weather almost canceled our flight and Diana was very flexible with us in case we had to stay another night (we were kinda hoping that would happen!). Her husband even shoveled us out first thing in the morning after receiving almost 2' of snow! And they have the nicest dog ever, Bruce! I totally recommend this place and hope to be back again!

We loved Chris' house, he is a great host! We felt at home, the kitchen is well equipped, the neighborhood is quiet and safe with a beautiful view. Chris' home is very comfortable and kid friendly. Our two granddaughter's enjoyed the variety of toys they played with. We will definitely book again when traveling with family!

It was cozy and a nice relaxing house , the fam enjoyed it a lot and kids enjoyed the playing the piano , would highly recommend the place , a relaxing and peaceful stay. Thank you , till next time for sure .

This house was very comfortable and the neighbors were great. Autumn was an amazing host who consistently made sure we had what we needed at all times :) I would very much stay here again! The house is very spacious and such a beautiful set up. The back yard was so pretty with the lights during the night time. Great location, great stay, amazing host!

Kelli’s home is absolutely beautiful. It is in a good spot, very close to the glacier in Juneau which is super rad. It is a bit far from downtown, but uber/lyft drivers are available and easy to get if necessary. It is also super close to the airport which was great for our early flight out! We had such a blast at the spot and would definitely come back and stay again. Very clean, and Kelli was very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend snagging this spot, especially if you have a big group! We were able to book the whole place for all nine of us. Thank you so much, Kelli!

I highly recommend staying here. One of the cleanest air bnb’s I have stayed in. All amenities were nice and worked well. A great choice when staying in Juneau.

Super place! I reserved this for my employee and he loved it! Kelli was very proactive in making his stay the best. We both knew what to expect, how to find it and she was available for anything we needed. It was a home away from home!

An ideal place for me to have access to my family just a couple blocks down. Being there in winter provided quick responses to managing snow buildup and removal. I kept warm, was able to make dinner for my family, with enough utensils, plates, and cups for all. I could have used a potato peeler, but all other needs were met. I hope to come back in the spring. Most enjoyable to have privacy, comfort, and quick responses when needed. Great job, hosts!

Great place to stay traveling for work. It felt like home, and had a great sitting area to wind down at night.

What a neat spot! We booked last minute after finding out we were stuck in Juneau, due to a ferry cancellation, and needed somewhere to post up with the dog for a couple of days. Loved the whole vibe, especially the kickass shower. Comfy, cozy and crazy-clean. The owner, Johney seems like a rad guy and was a pleasure to chat with. I caught a quick peek inside his garage and it made me drool a little. Great, quiet neighborhood and just a quick drive to the ferry terminal. As always, Kelli and her cohost were helpful and responsive. We’d definitely stay again.

Good place to stay while visiting Juneau. Newly built with fully stocked kitchen. Would caution people that have trouble sleeping due to road noise, other people in/out of the apartment complex, etc.

The apartment was spotless, comfortable, plenty large. We were extremely grateful to have a place to stay with our well mannered dog. The location was convenient to the airport as well as the ferry and Fred Meyer's shopping!

Our stay was terrific! The house is exceptionally well appointed — appliances, hot tub, kitchen and cooking/settings. It is very well maintained and super clean. Our messages to Kat were returned very quickly. The rooms had plenty of fresh linens and towels, etc. Every AirBnB owner should visit this home to see how to welcome and treat guests! We were also surprised about the wide range of activities we never expected. Hope we can stay longer next time!

This rental house was the perfect place to rent when my family and I came up to visit my parents in Juneau. The location was so convenient for us and the view was SPECTACULAR. Amanda was very friendly, accommodating and responsive. I would definitely rent from her again!

We were in Juneau for our daughter's wedding and came with family, including an active two year old. I was attracted to this house because it was kid friendly and it did not disappoint. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house because of all the wedding activities but the time we did was never boring. I recommend paying the extra fee for the hot tub. It rained most of the time we were there and the hot tub was a wonderful way to end the day.

We had a lovely stay at Roger's place. It was the third time we stayed there, and we keep coming back. We love the quiet, private space and beautiful surroundings. The covered porch, hottub and sauna were all fabulous additions to our stay. We birded from the back porch and watched a deer each morning in the grassy estuary. The house was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Roger is a great communicator and he made the stay easy. Looking for an excuse to come back!
