Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Douglas County

The house was comfy, cozy, and spacious, providing everything we needed. The serene country setting was absolutely beautiful, offering the perfect environment for peace and relaxation. We were delighted by the frequent visits from hummingbirds, chickens, and even some deer! Our dogs had a fantastic time as well, making it a great getaway for the whole family.

Our stay at the cabin in the woods was so peaceful and relaxing. Everything we needed was there. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. The fire pit was perfect. We spend all our evenings sitting beside it enjoying the quiet. A little deer visiting morning and evening was a bonus. We would recommend the cabin. Chloe and Jason were extremely helpful hosts.

This was our 5th visit to Oregon in the past few years. It was our first time visiting Coos Bay. We were looking for a family friendly home, near attraction. Melinda's house fit the bill. It was clean and neat. It had a nice open feel to it. We did a lot of sightseeing so we were mostly at the house in the evenings. The neighborhood was pretty quiet. We loved the pool table. We used the BBQ one night which was great. Everyone slept good for the most part. The bottom bunk bed could use a little more pading or a small box spring. We had one adult sleeping on it and they could feel the metal frame. Other than that, the house was prefect for us. Definitely would recommend to family and friends. If ever traveling up this way again, we would love to rent again.

We booked very last minute and were more than happy to have found this place. I highly recommend staying here and would love to again if given the opportunity! Also, Michelle was ver helpful and responsive. She went above and beyond to let me know I had left my AirPods and sent them back to me free of charge! 5 star!

Jessie and Robert's place is a very nice place to stay. They have accommodated all of our needs.

Tawny's place was perfect for our group, the owner is great to work with and extended a really good rebate when our trip was cut short. We are very happy with Tawny & Co. and encourage anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Cottage Grove to book their place. We look forward to staying there the next time we're in the area!

The locale was idyllic, the host was gracious and on top of things, and everyone had a splendid time! We will be returning in the fall for sure!!

A great place to stay in Oakridge especially if you’re here to bike! Close to everything that you need and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We were very pleased with April's Airbnb! We only stayed a few days but felt very comfortable and whenever we had a question, she responded quickly. Roseburg and Oregon in general is very beautiful and we had a wonderful view from the deck area!

This place was absolutely gorgeous. Big beautiful windows opened out onto trees and gardens, outdoor spaces to relax. Karen was super responsive and friendly. Thanks so much!

Amy was super helpful in helping us book her place last minute for a family emergency. I accidentally book another one of Amy’s properties in Lakeside not realizing the distance from where we needed to be. Amy was very responsive in making the changes for us. It was one less thing we needed to worry about during our stay. The apartment was comfortable and everything we needed. This was also the 3rd property of Amy’s that we have booked. Very nice all around.

Nice, fully functional apartment unit. It's large in space . Bed is comfy. Would stay again. A lot of light that shines thru the windows in the front and back, and that is welcoming and makes for a great homey feeling. There are good blinds on all windows to block out the light for sleep. There is a breakfast nook area near the kitchen with a couple of chairs that look out the windows for a cute view of the town. It's an old building, which means there are creaks and you can hear other units. Personally for me, it's not loud enough to be an issue at all. I just mention this because if you are the kind of person who needs 100% quietness, you might have issues. Bring ear plugs. Google Maps provides good directions right to the front of the house. What would have been much appreciated in the check in instructions were more details on finding the parking in the rear of the house, and the accompanying directions on how to find the back door of the unit.

A lovely place especially if you have pets. Walking along the creek and taking in the natural beauty and animals before turning in for a peaceful comfortable night was pristine!

I did not stay at the Jesse Fisher 1890 house. When we arrived and knew we were not satisfied, I contacted Bernie. He responded immediately, and offered me a different location. He had a room available in a beautiful home at the top of a hill right above Roseburg. Bernie picked us up within 10 minutes and took us up to see the house at the top of the hill. Once I checked the internet speed, I accepted this alternative. I'm very glad I did. I was there nearly 2 weeks. The room was clean, nice, very quiet, and connected to a large shared bathroom. There were many guest rooms in this home. however, I don't know how many people I shared the bathroom with because everyone kept it so clean, you really couldn't tell. I had a little refrigerator in my room which made life really easy. The shared kitchen is gorgeous. Nice laundry room too. The house at the top of the hill is less than 5 minutes from town and very convenient.

The place got a great amount of sun in the sun rooms and were perfect for soaking up the rays. The bathroom is very nice and looked recently remodeled. Check-in and check-out were simple and easy. Kitchen had all the things needed to cook and prepare a meal. Amy was very kind when messaging and helped us whenever we had questions! Would recommend for the price of course and a good location centrally located in Coos Bay

Bernie and Venus were great hosts. They were welcoming and very responsive. The apartment was cozy and exactly what I was looking for. It was well equipped and has lots of natural sunlight. The apartment is walking distance to downtown and close to several good restaurants. The building is very close to an active railway line and can be noisy with the trains coming through. I personally found it charming, but may be disruptive to sleep.

A gem of an AirBnB. Absolutely beautiful cabin. Warm, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful yard front and back. Great communication. I could go on and on and on. Already planning another trip in the area and hope to come back to exactly this cabin. Both thumbs up.

Our stay at the River Cabin was full of relaxation, lasting memories, comfort, and an eagerness to come back!! Host and co host were very thoughtful and we would love to stay at the cabin again 😊

Lovely stay at the Carriage House. Sally was incredibly helpful and reached out to us when we were running late to be sure we could find the place. She also had a clean and well appointed space. My husband and I spent two action packed days cross-country skiing and enjoyed coming home to hot water and a comfortable bed at the end of the day. Highly recommend!!!

What a great find! I’m disappointed that we arrived so late (our fault!) that we weren’t able to really hunker down for the camping experience. I hope we’re able to return one day because this is right up our alley. This was the perfect “unplug” night for us and especially our kiddo. Deanna was helpful and accommodating, and she had stocked the cabin with several items we totally forgot.

It was the ideal place to stay for exploring the National Forest. We received great local tips, the local grocer had a few little extras (cold drinks, ice creams, camping supplies, ice, etc), and the room was as described. Special mention to the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms and the immaculately kept grounds. Bedding was comfortable and the room had the essentials as listed.

The picture and description don’t do this place justice. Being in the home, you feel a sense of peace and warmth. It’s cozy throughout, with that feeling present in every corner. The aesthetic they aimed for was not only achieved but surpassed. While spending time in the home, it felt like every minute detail had been carefully considered. I couldn’t recommend this place enough—I just wish I had booked a longer stay.

Dee & Tom’s family cabin was the Most wonderful place to stay. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is the place for you. You feel right at home, beautiful area, a lot of history of the falls and their family cabin is shared throughout the cabin. We have been kicking ourselves in the pants for not planning a longer visit.

My partner and I wanted a weekend getaway from the city to unplug and recharge. This place hit the nail on the head. Am planning on my next getaway here.
