Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Dota

This place was perfect for us, two adults and two kids (12 and 9 yrs old). We had originally planned on staying at another place higher on the hill until we realized the road to get there was insanely steep and challenging to navigate, especially during the rainy season. Eric’s place was easy to get to, with a friendly security guard monitoring traffic into the neighborhood. The view was AMAZING, the beds were comfy and the pool was clean and refreshing. Great location for exploring other beaches and the towns of Dominical and Uvita and an easy 1.25 hr drive south to Sierpe for a mangrove boat tour (which was awesome) or to access Corcovado NP. Eric and Fabiola were wonderful and very helpful hosts. First-timer advice: if you’re renting a car, go with a smaller 4x4, we got a Hyundai Kona. Barely fits our luggage, but easy to navigate on narrow Costa Rican roads and small parking spaces.

I had a great stay in San José. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. Check-in was smooth, and the host was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues that came up during my stay. It was a perfect base for exploring the city and surrounding areas. I’d definitely stay here again.

A wonderful place with a lot of peace

A absolute privilege to spend a few days here as a family. A gem of a house that felt immediately like a home. We loved the quirks and the passion for enjoyment. Top of our price range but to us it was worth every penny. Thank you Tucker.

An easy five star stay!! Giulio was very helpful in helping us find the place. He was so kind and welcoming, making sure we felt right at home. We were tired after a road trip, so we ended up staying in for dinner and ordering food from Giulio and his wife. The food was AMAZING and made care. And the view!! Jaw dropping. I could go on and on but long story short: stay here!! You won’t regret it!

Angie's place was beautiful; we really enjoyed our stay. Our teens loved the hammocks and lounge chairs and we all appreciated the beautiful views and peaceful surroundings, including the background noise of the waterfall. We saw small toucans and numerous other birds (check out the bird book) and enjoyed tasting some of the fruits on property. Angie's list of recommended activities was also fantastic and we used that to book a number of adventures. Thank you to Angie and team for sharing this space and creating an amazing home away from home!

Amazing, very responsive! Easy for overnight before headed to airport

Amazing stay!!! Massi was a great host with clear instructions since the reservation was confirmed. About the house, it is just more than what he described: big spaces, fully equipped for a family, comfortable and secure, private and clean! The views, different animals and nature around the property, beautiful pool and space for our dogs to walk by and enjoy the day… Definitely we will be back! Thanks again for sharing your place, we took good care of it and hope to be welcome again!

Fantastic stay! The location was perfect, with plenty of walkable restaurants nearby. Our host was incredibly responsive and kind, and we loved having access to a great pool and gym.

This place is beautiful, absolutely amazing views, the food at the hotel is fantastic. We had monkeys and tucans within 20' of the balcony. if this is available you should book it

Excellent stay, we give it a 20 out of 10, all the details of the house, the location and the road are excellent, Mario's dad treated us super well, keep in mind that there is no wifi and the cell phone signal is very bad at times but they do work, but in general we will go again

An ideal cabin to have a weekend of peace and tranquility, very comfortable and with a nice river that passes through the property.

We needed a few days of rest away from the noise and routine of the city, and in this house we found a lot of peace, nature and tranquility. In addition to some super friendly dogs and access to basic services about 10 minutes away.

The cabin is a very quiet place that invites you to rest. The hosts have thought of many details for the best stay of their guests (appliances, board games, foosball, blankets, lanterns, etc.). It is a modern cabin with all the facilities but immersed in nature. Thank you very much for everything
