In a calm, modern Japanese space that makes use of the warmth of wood, you can see the magnificent Mt. Fuji in front of you from the room and the terrace. If you go out to the terrace, you can enjoy a relaxing BBQ with Mt. Fuji in the background. Spending time looking at Mt. Fuji, which changes its appearance depending on the season and time of day, is a special experience that can only be enjoyed here. ▫️ Notes ▫️ About the natural environment. It is a natural environment. We take measures to prevent insects from entering the room, but it is difficult to completely prevent them, so we do not recommend staying here if you are not good with insects. Shimomura no Hanare

The accommodation "Shitamura no Hanare" is located about 20 minutes by car from Fujino Station on the Chuo Line, on the prefectural border between Uenohara City, Yamanashi Prefecture and Midori Ward, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is about an hour's drive from the city, and the peaceful scenery of the natural countryside spreads out. "Shimomura no Hanare" is named after our house. The separate accommodation is compact but private, and you can enjoy seasonal views from the garden room. In this area, cars were not yet widespread in the early Showa era, and people mainly raised horses, cows, goats, chickens, etc. in stables. There is a renovated stable on the premises of our house, and it is a charming space. The stable is also a private space for guests. Children are welcome, and up to 1 small dog is allowed. In addition, although it is limited to the season, you can enjoy activities such as shiitake mushroom hunting, bamboo shoot digging, bracken picking, and yuzu harvesting. Only a 5 min walk from the Hirano highway bus terminal to connect “Busta Shinjuku” / Tokyo Sta. Tourists in the most walkable neighborhoods of Hirano ward will find a car isn't necessary to get around.
