In the summer you can visit some of Gjerstad's nice swimming areas such as Sandåkerhølen or Kleivvann. There is also a short distance for those who like cross-country skiing and at Gautefall you can ski downhill. Hunting terrain can be rented through Statskog

"Kjempehytta" is an Idyllic small cabin located on a beautiful island in Lake Toke in Bamble, Telemark. A perfect place to see the the starry night sky, and enjoy nature. In summer you can go swimming an fishing in the lake. To get to the island you need to padle a canoe. The canoe and two lifejackets are included in the rent.
