The ridge house is a wonderful place to stay. You are part of the rainforest and the sounds and interactions with nature are unbeatable. The open plan nature of the house means privacy is limited but you have a view from the loo! The access to the rest of the property with walking trails and the swimming hole in the creek give unique experiences. Topped by the Cassowary on the driveway! If you want to really experience the Daintree this is the place.

If you want a peaceful place to relax , meditate and have a tech free stay this is your place. As my 11 yo said - feels like the world is in my backyard! Waking up to a cup of tea enjoying the sun rise in your backyard between coconut trees! Enjoy a nice lunch/bbq at home ( shop at Woolies Mossman , before you arrive ) followed by watching the starlit sky with a beer at night! Quite serene and peaceful place . Pro tip - you can actually go to the reef 🪸 from cape tribulation (30min drive) from Daintree to avoid the busy 2 hr trip from Cairns. Daniel’s home is well stocked with pantry and huge kitchen - to support if you have missed something on your way to Daintree. There is an Icecream store just next door to enjoy some natural fruit Icecream. Quite a few eateries (beyond my expectations , given its secluded location ). Do try the swim in the sink hole near cape t cafe . Enjoyed my peaceful two nights with my folks :) highly recommended.

This property is absolutely stunning — a true slice of paradise nestled right on the Daintree River. The house is beautifully designed, well-maintained, and fully immersed in nature. Waking up to the sounds of the rainforest and the ocean was magical. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to disconnect and experience the wild beauty of North Queensland. That said, it is very remote — no shops or restaurants nearby, and the final stretch of road is definitely an adventure. Also, expect to share the space with some of the local insect population (bring bug spray!). But honestly, those little trade-offs are part of the charm. If you're looking for luxury surrounded by raw nature, this is the place. Would absolutely return!

This house is wonderful - completely private, peaceful, surrounded by greenery, and fully equipped to have a quiet weekend away. It is decorated and furnished with love and care, with plenty of little touches (vinyl player, books, hammock, outdoor bathtub, fire etc.) to make it homely. We would definitely stay here again and it is incredibly well-priced.

Couldn't recommend Anita's Airbnb more for anyone visiting the Cape Tribulation area. Loved the indoor/outdoor living feel of the house opening up to the large undercover deck. Everything was very clean and had everything we needed! Thank you Anita!

Wow. What a magical experience to be able to have to opportunity to stay at such a beautiful location. My Partner and myself have always wanted to buy property in this area and staying here has really amplified that dream. Everything about this property is amazing and I would not change a thing 🙌 🙏. The complimenty beer and wine was great, the house was amazing, the best views I've experienced at an air bnb, the customer service was friendly and welcoming. Everything was neat and tidy, the house was spotless and so clean, The serenity was on point everything was perfect. To whom reads this trust me this place will not disappoint and will exceed expectations. Thank you Jason and Chika for providing us this experience and being such amazing hosts.

A truly lovely home in Cape Tribulation enjoyed by six of us. The house is a little bit older however was very comfortable and well set up for a group Two of our group elected to sleep outside on the open verandah and loved it The walk from the house to Coconut Beach through rainforest is stunning and the beach walk north is beautful We would definitely stay at this amazing house again- highly recommended Bob
