"Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

The vacation home is centrally located but quiet in the middle of the village. Restaurants and bike rentals are available. Kirchberg is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours, climbing, exploring the suspension rope bridge or visiting natural and adventure pools.

Treat yourself to a visit to our half-timbered house Anno 1690, renovated in 2019, in the very quiet old town of Stromberg, right by the Schlossbrunnen fountain below the 3 castles. The kitchen on the 2nd floor is excitingly located in the former battlement of the city wall. The medieval building still has the typical steep oak stairs and the ceiling height is outside the norm. Cozy stay in the house and as a starting point for hikers & bikers....for relaxation and adventure...

Gemünden Castle with swimming pool

The 13th century castle sits above the village of Gemünden, also called "the pearl of the Hunsrück". The beautiful and spacious rooms offer plenty of space and peace and a unique historical experience. Thanks to the thick castle walls, it is also pleasant and of course cool in high summer. On the castle terrace under the Linden, you can relax and enjoy the view of the opposite Soon Forest. Perfect for family holidays or with friends and colleagues.

The apartment 'Hering in Dill' is ideal for people who do not like to stay in hotel rooms and want to take care of themselves independently. It is practical and cozy, yet modernly furnished. You are welcome to cater for yourself. Breakfast is not included in the total price and will be freshly purchased on request and charged at €15.00 per person. To do this, please send me your breakfast request or what you would like to eat after booking.
