“24 hours hardly enough at this beautiful place. Everything as described, the location by the reservoir and tea plantations is just breathtaking, and the serenity is like nothing we’ve experienced before. Kannan and his staff were quietly welcoming, serving us amazing local fare for dinner and breakfast. Icing on the cake - as we left Rivendell, our driver said ‘ they are such hospitable people’ Highly recommend.”
My place is close to great views and restaurants and dining. You’ll love my place because of the views and the location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. We offer Tea plantation visit , Tea Factory Visit and to see the process of tea making. We can guide you to Water falls, Mountain Hiking (Adams Peak) and Cabin/huts near by rivers. Transportation service Available ( Car,Van and Tuk Tuk )
“This is the second time that we have stayed at Nilangas place (and my parents have also stayed here in the past.) Nilanga is a great host - speedy communication and friendly and helpful. His mother Shiromi and father Raja are wonderful. A superb cook (you can’t beat her Dahl and roti!) and so keen to ensure you have a relaxing stay. The guesthouse is in a great location- on the main road to town, but the rooms are set back enough that it’s quiet and peaceful (the sounds of the bamboo and river are lovely) Just across the road is Tea Leaf Vision school - an amazing charity offering free education to young people from the tea estates. They always love visitors so do go and check it out! Tealeaftrust.com”

“Namals place was great and exactly as described in Airbnb. His brother picked me up from Hatton station and then on the route back to his place stopped and showed me the sights, which was really thoughtful. The location is great if your there to climb Adams peak and don’t want to be in the thick of the action right by the start of the climb. The food was delicious and prepared by his mum. Overall I’d highly recommend Namals place.”
