My stay at Putu’s place was amazing. The apartment is within a homestay and I felt part of his family. They were always watching out if I felt right. The place is silent, beautiful, clean, with all the essence of a local balinesse home. Pictures show a modest place while the stay is new, clean and spotless. I felt serene, welcome and priviledged. Ps. I tried to stay longer but it was booked :(

My family of 4 with 2 young kids stayed for two full months and Dewa and the whole staff treated us like family. On several occasions Dewa went way out of his way to help us and made sure we had everything we needed to have the best stay. We rented a fence to go around the pool to make it safer for the kids cost around $100 cad/month. Dewa set us up with scooter rentals and they were there ready on our arrival. The cleaning ladies were so sweet with my kids and not having to clean was a highlight of my trip. They also provided all the drinking water. The area has one nice restaurant within about 5 min walk through the rice fields and another 10 mins along the busy road. Was very happy over all and would recommend.

The villa is incredible and has a beautiful view, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The pictures represent perfectly the villa as it is. It is a bit far from places but if you are looking to relax at the villa it is perfect. Greatly recommended!

The property is excellent. The location is really desolate with even grab and Gojek refusing to get there multiple times. It’s a wonderful property if you want to just enjoy within the villa with friends and family. But if you are looking to have restaurants or any other tourist amenities nearby, then it’s inconvenient. You must have transport - preferably a car as the road is rather desolate leading up to the villa. The pool and rooms are excellent. Overall a great property.

An Absolute Paradise Perfect Bali Getaway From the moment we arrived at this stunning villa in Bali, we were completely blown away. The property is even more beautiful than the photos — a true tropical oasis! The highlight for us was definitely the private pool, which was pristine and surrounded by lush greenery. It felt like our own secluded paradise. The villa itself is spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean. We loved the mix of modern comfort and traditional Balinese touches. The pool table and ping pong table were huge hits and the wood-fired oven? Incredible! We had the best homemade pizzas under the stars, such a memorable experience. The hosts were warm, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Whether it was arranging transportation, sharing local tips, or helping us with special requests. If you're looking for a relaxing, fun-filled escape in Bali, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

Besides having the absolute best and most comfortable bed out of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, the place is so cute and cozy. The out door layout of the kitchen/patio makes the place feel really big. Walkable location to downtown Ubud, overall the place is perfect for long and short term stays. The hosts are also so kind and responsive, they brought me fresh fruit twice which was completely unexpected and appreciated . I would be back in a heart beat.

This villa was beautiful and clean. The staff was so lovely. We stayed in this villa with our two young girls and the yard and pool was perfect. Very kid friendly.

This bright, modern apartment was built in 2020. In a super good location in Seminyak, it’s still quite quiet but also within walking distance to many things. The bed was perhaps the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Wow! We slept like dead people, also because of the blackout curtains. Nice work! Shower was also great. Huge TV, huge bathtub outside with jets (although not enough hot water to fill it). Very friendly and responsive staff. Gym right below the unit, which is a nice touch. The one weird thing is that the bathroom door is glass, so there is limited privacy for anyone using it. This is not the “authentic” Bali experience but it is super comfortable and well priced. We could live here long term!

Wir reisen als kleine Familie mit 14 Monat altem Kind. Ambara und seine Familie sind sehr hilfsbereite und liebevolle Gastgeber. Unser Sohn bekam frisch gepflückte Bananen aus deren Anwesen, welches sehr sauber und gepflegt ist. im Garten ist speziel eine offene, überdachte Möglichkeit für Joga oder Meditation mit Blick über die wunderschönen ruhigen Reisfelder. kein Roller gehupe etc. lediglich angenehmes Vogelgezwitscher. Ambara bot sich gerne an gemeinsam mit uns Joga zu machen und uns zu unterrichten. das nahmen wir gerne an und haben es sehr genossen! Roller kann direkt von ihm gemietet werden. Für Fahrten steht er ebenso zur Verfügung. eine zum Zimmer zugehörige Küche für kleine Speißezubereitungen ist ebenso vorhanden, inklusive Kühlschrank. Der Blick vom Balkon führt über Reisfelder zu Palmen. wunderschön. Am Morgen wird man von der Sonne wach geküsst. Im Zimmer ist es jedoch Dank funktionierender Klimaanlage immer kühl. Ambara wohnt mit seiner Familie nicht direkt auf dem Anwesen steht jedoch jederzeit zur Verfügung und ist auch mehrfach am Tag vor Ort und ansprechbar. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft in jedem Fall weiter auch mit Kindern! vielen herzlichen Dank an die ganze Familie für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Perfect stopover after a late flight in to catch the ferry to the islands in the morning. Easy enough to find, and only a 15 minute walk to the turtle sanctuary.

Nyoman is a very caring and cool host. I came to Ubud for the first time, but I was so happy. He cleaned right away and accepted feedback right away. And he always tried to communicate with me and gave me a lot of information. He’s a very honest man to know. There will be good accommodation and delicious food. I’ll be back next year. The entire villa team made us felt very welcome, they attended to our very needs and accommodated any requests with speed. They offered massage service in villa and personal chefs which we found extremely convenient especially catering to a big group. All amenities and descriptions of the villa were accurate. We really enjoyed our stay and this villa is amazing for anyone who is interested to chill and explore Ubud. :)

Great place, great host, everything was fantastic, lost the keys, couldn’t get inside at 2am, the host was really helpful and understanding, solved the issue quickly. villa is quiet but at the same time close to bars, restaurants

Wow, wow and wow. We have been to Bali on numerous occasions, but Villa Kubu is the best we have stayed at. Our Villa was like a private resort with huge private pool set in beautiful gardens. Great Bedroom with amazing mosquito surround. Really loved the outdoor Shower. The Staff were friendly, helpful and happy and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect including catering for our ‘Coeliac’ meal requirements. Definitely going back to Villa Kubu next visit to Bali.

Karma Kandara has the best view among all resots in Bali.

Would highly recommend this place. We had such a beautiful time and felt very welcomed. It’s right in the middle of Ubud but in a really peaceful setting. The room and grounds have been cleverly and thoughtfully designed, paying respect to the natural surrounds. It’s a very beautiful green space even though it’s on a busy street. At night you can hear music playing from the nearby establishments but it didn’t bother us at all and didn’t really go late into the night I think this is mainly because the place itself is just so beautiful and the street has a real vibe to it. We were so impressed with this beautiful place and would highly recommend - especially for couples. The pool areas are gorgeous - everything was clean. Staff were incredible, friendly and sweet. Really can’t fault anything about this place, utterly charming, beautifully laid out and such a perfect location. Thank you so much for having us at making us feel so welcome!

Lovely stay! Very peaceful, lovely rooms, bathroom, outside area and pool. Kar was friendly and fast with communication. About a 12 min walk to main road with cafes/shops but there is a restaurant and cafe 2 mins walk away too. Would stay again!

Had an absolutely wonderful time at this villa. The host was extremely responsive and helpful, and every staff including the host were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The locality is beautiful and everything is walkable. From beach clubs, shopping marts to local warrungs (local restaurants) , everything was easily accessible which made this stay even better! Although some of the furniture is pretty old, the cleaning is done everyday and made sure everything is tidy, which compensates for it. The host Utari was extremely helpful at all times of the day for us☺️

It was amazing stay! I’ve never experienced that before. The feeling was like we were in Tarzan’s house, because it is located in the real jungle! Wooden house is round with panoramic views which were incredible. Every time I looked at the views I couldn’t believe how beautiful it is and wild, something that you wouldn’t find in a center of Ubud. It is a hidden gem! I would definitely come back there with friends! The area is beautiful and huge we were shocked! It basically had 2 houses for just us 2. A little farm which added a lot of charm and the stuff were really great, they provided everything we needed! Thanks a lot again! See you next time
