Vacation rentals with lake access in Denbighshire

We had a lovely stay at this property, it was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The location is fantastic and there is lots to do! Our hosts were extremely helpful, friendly and flexible. We could not recommend this property more!

Amazing location to switch off and relax. The place is pretty basic which is fine but it needs a bit of TLC. Would be great to have the wood at the house and not having to ask for it all the time. Worth visiting for sure for the location and views/walk around the private estate.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Great for a quiet retreat away from the crowds. Hot tub and games room were a great hit with teenagers. Welcome basket was above the norm. Quality of fixtures and fittings were to a high standard. The grounds are kept immaculate. The seating area by the river was lovely and peaceful.

We had a brilliant stay here over New Year. We had 8 adults & a toddler and had plenty of space for all of us. The house was very warm and cozy, with a great kitchen/dining space and a utility room perfect for taking off muddy boots. The area was beautiful with lots of hiking, cycling and running right from the doorstep with Llyn Brenig in very easy access. The host was very helpful with plenty of information beforehand and responsive when we had problems with a sticky door. Would happily return here.

This was super accommodation. We came to kayak at new year and had a super time.

Helen was an awesome host, very friendly and helpful. I would recommend a stay at her place to anyone visiting the area.

house was beautiful and clean and tidy. lovely shower nice cosy bed. nice little garden lovely 😍 nice size lounge with table chairs. lovely presented house. excellent location walking distance to bala lake and lots shops restaurants. friendly town nice people. not far from our location where we live. dog friendly our dog loved the walks and out and about. great hosts. would definitely come again and stay.

Staying at Kendra’s was a real pleasure. I instantly felt at home. She made me feel very welcome and was very generous and kind. The room was great, had a great TV full of films and streaming platforms. Was so comfortable and clean. Would 10000% come back thank you Kendra. X

Mum and I had a fab girly getaway here! It was so cosy and peaceful, and Mel got back to me super quick when we needed a bit of help. Great location too, close to everything. Such a lovely, relaxing break. Thanks Emma and Mel! x

Beautiful, spacious and clean flat in great location at a very reasonable price. All necessities required for our stay were provided. Simon met us for check-in and showed us round. Would happily return if ever in Liverpool again.

Absolutely loved my stay. The apartment was easy to find and match the description of the post to a T. Perfect location for travelling the city and close to plenty of attractions and restaurants. I had a lovely time and Carly always had me in mind to make sure my stay was pleasant which it was.

A very spacious and comfortable apartment in a fab location. Very quiet and peaceful at night, but only 15mins walk to local bars and restaurants. Was an excellent base while attending a trade show at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre (10mins walk).

The house was very spacious, the kids enjoyed playing all the games in the cupboard, and the buckets and spades left out for us. Nicky was extremely helpful giving local recommendations as well. My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend while she took part in the Big Bala Swim. Nigel's place was absolutely perfect for what we needed with more than enough room for the two of us. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was lovely to have a bath at the end of the day! The lake is beautiful and the shore is only a 5 minute walk away. All in all we loved our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone else.

From the moment you arrive through the gate, you are surrounded by nature and relaxation. The cottage is lovely, well equipped and homely. Marianne left some delectable home bakes (cake and bread) as well as hen eggs and milk. Perfect to settle in. The area is secluded yet not far to drive to the main attractions. Although steep to drive up the hills, we found a less steep route in and out. We’d love to return as it’s so central to most of North Wales.

This little cottage was just amazing, In the middle of nowhere but really easy to get to the coast, the vies were out of this world so many walking tracks into the mountains around, the logo fire in the evening was so cosy will defiantly bring the family back

it was the most beautiful, cosy cottage with stunning gardens. it was a home from home experience. cottage had everything we needed and more..It was extremely clean. Greg the host was absolutely amazing and responding in mins to any questions. We will definitely be staying there again. it was a magical place! can't praise this property enough. highly recommend anyone to stay there. We had the best time there and can't wait to go back. our little dogs loved it there too.

Great stay in North Wales, spacious place in a perfect location for hikes and sightseeing. Super convenient, and would happily stay again!

The best host we have ever experienced! Never before have we had so many little gestures, helpful ideas and lovely touches- Sam definitely is a super host! Beautiful walks from the cottage. We enjoyed the waterfall and having a dip. The walk up to the abandoned village was great in the mist one evening. The cafe was one to experience as well. Bunk beds which really help when you have teenagers- as we do! The decor, lights and set up was fab! The beds were really comfy which was very much appreciated. Plenty of amenities in the cottage, it was so quiet there and the views are stunning. We used the cottage as a base for climbing Snowdon and other activities. Everywhere is a bit of a drive but definitely make use of the beautiful area where the cottage is. We went to The Goat Inn (one of Sam’s recs) and it was fab! Also Hangin Pizza (another rec and hard to get a table). I would definitely recommend this lovely cottage and amazing host. Thank you for everything Sam.

We had an amazing stay with our LO at the cottage. The steam railway is 4 min away on foot as well as the lake is in very close proximity. The host is lovely and very responsive. It is so quiet at night, we slept like logs!

Amazing few days. House is tucked away on the hillside overlooking lake Bala. V peaceful and private. House had everything we needed and Simon was very helpful and responsive.
