LLan-Y-Pwll Farm, Double Decker Glamping Bus 1

Christopher PaulRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Thanks for a lovely stay. Kids absolutely loved staying on a bus and didn't want to come home. Hosts were great, good communication and information sent over. Bus was exactly as described. Close to town centre and lots of restaurants/activities etc. Nice and quiet and overlooked a nice field with good views. As i say, really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Sweeney Farm Glamping - Mountain Lodge

GabrielleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had such a beautiful weekend in Helen’s tent with my friends, there’s lots to do in the area, we spent one of our days in Lake Bala. Even if you want to stay on the site there’s plenty of games and sports equipment provided and a field to enjoy. Inside the tent was spotless and comfortable we all felt right at home. Absolutely nothing to complain about, we would all definitely return :)

Large caravan in beautiful South Shropshire

BeauRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay in Jan’s accommodation. We arrived 1st week of March and were greeted with a very clean, warm living space. The freshly cut Daffodils were a nice touch. You get your own little boundary containing a lush lawn, 2 beautiful apple trees and lots of seasonal flowers, it’s pretty and you get a nice sense of privacy. Jan is a great host. She is very friendly & communicative, has great local knowledge and always happy to help with whatever she can. She gives you plenty of space to enjoy your break but if you’re up for a chinwag she has all the time for you. The town of Bishops Castle has a lot to offer, with lots of small businesses that seem to be thriving. There are a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes all of which are good in their own ways. Our favourite was probably the Happy Bap for a small bite and a coffee. There is also an excellent quality butcher, petrol station, 2 convenience shops and variety of cute crafty shops.

The Tropicaravan - a fun, family friendly caravan!

SusanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a great short stay at Tropicaravan. Set in beautiful surroundings. Clear directions were received for location with helpful photos, much appreciated. The caravan is beautifully laid out with everything needed including air fryer. Katie very helpful recommending the chip van which was in the local village Tuesday evening when we arrived, Katie collected them for us as she was going into the village which was most helpful after the long journey. The hosts are very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and gave good recommendations on where to visit. Conwy is beautiful and I was surprised by Llandudno too.. Also i had no problems with WiFi and I'm EE We enjoyed our stay. Thankyou

Quirky converted double decker bus with hot tub

JamesRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our stay: We have just returned from a wonderful couple of nights staying in Betsy the converted bus, we had a great time along with our 3 year old and dog, the accommodation was great for us and practical for the dog, the garden and paddock beyond were secure and a great space to allow the dog to roam free. A few animals in the field next door to peak the little ones interest and lovely hot tub for us to relax in at the end of the day. Location: Lovely peaceful and remote spot, close enough to Shrewsbury and a small number of local farm shops. Great for anyone wishing to escape into the countryside for some peace and quite and perfect setup to bring 4 legged friends without worrying about their movements! Host: Andrew the host came to greet us not long after arrival, with a pleasant introduction to the place and reassurance that if needed he would be available to answer any queries.

Luxury Stargazing Glamping - Seren Hardd & Hot Tub

AngelaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Thank you Jess for creating such a breathtaking place-myself and my hubby spent 3 of the best nights we’ve ever had in your beautiful Yurt-it was extremely spacious & the bed felt like we were on a cloud-my husband is very fussy with beds and he said he has had the best nights’ sleep in the bed of dreams as we looked up to see the most incredible stars like we’ve never experienced before. The scenery to wake up to watching the epic sunrises is something else! Hot tub was amazing & to sit & watch the sunset in the tub was complete luxury for us & the fire pit & outdoor cooking was one of the best experiences of life to cook from the local butchers overlooking the views. Magical. You are such a kind, generous host and our stay was made special because you also let us feed your lambs! Thank you so much. We are booking again without a doubt.

New farm bell tent

EllieRating, 5 stars34 months ago
Absolutely beautiful bell tent with beautiful views. Kitted out with everything you need (excluding cooking equipment and food), including very comfy bed and bedding, towels, blankets, outdoors table and chairs, sizeable mini fridge, lamp and electric sockets for your phones. There are chairs indoors, but the tent is too concave for your to actually sit on them, but they make a useful place to store your stuff. There's space behind the bed to put your clothes bags/suitcases so you have enough space to move about. The showers are very hot and powerful enough for small electric and the facilities are emaculate. Also lots of recycling bins for all your waste which is great. Julie was easy to get hold of through Zoe, and even gave us some extra teabags which was very kind. Unfortunately someone pitched very close to us and decided that 5.30am was a reasonable time to get up and go about their business, so Julie had a word and reminded them it was a quiet site and to be considerate of others - after this they chose to get up at 6am instead, but make even more noise. They made comments that we in the bell tent got preferential treatment and that there was one rule for us and another for them, etc. (absolutely not the case), so we just avoided them for the rest of the trip. The site and tent are perfect and Julie did what she could to resolve the neighbour issue, but you can't mitigate who else in holiday at the same time and how they behave. It would be good if other tents were prevented from pitching close though, given the costs involved for the bell tent. That said, we tried to not let it spoil our time too much and just hung out inside the tent instead, when we weren't on day trips to Chester Zoo or Zip World Fforest. We can also recommend a meal out at Pant yr Ochain - beautiful pub and a very reasonably priced Sunday roast. Thanks for a lovely break Zoe and Julie!

Shrawardine Station Train Carriage - Wild Swimming

KateRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had a fantastic stay, Rebecca was a clear and friendly host who made sure I had everything I needed. The place was immaculate, with great amenities, especially impressive for such a peaceful, isolated spot. The garden was lovely, fully secure for my two dogs, and very private from any outside views, which was ideal as one of my dogs can be reactive. The firepit was a great touch, and there was plenty of wood provided. Overall, a brilliant stay, I’d definitely return!

Cefn Coed Woodland Camping - Pitch1

MariaRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Beautiful camp spots! The road down to the camp isn't too bad, lots of passing places. Lovely Thai food available to purchase. I had a forest pitch and it was just lovely. Then there's a walk down to the estuary and you can see the sunset down there. Toilets kept clean and stocked up. Also a small shop for snacks and basics! I would definitely come back :)

LLoyds Meadow - Exclusively Adult Glamping

JordanRating, 5 stars34 months ago
Our stay with Sarah and Danny was just perfect from start to finish. Check in was super easy and Sarah told us everything we needed to know and we knew where to find her if we had any questions. The tent was right next to the lake and it was really lovely and clean with an extremely comfort double bed. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful, we really felt relaxed and even managed to do some fishing and actually catch some fish! The train station was a 5 minute walk away and you could get on the train to Chester within 12 minutes which was great. There was also a lovely pub just opposite the train station which had great food and drinks. On 2 out of our 3 night stay we hired a log burner off Sarah and Danny and it was fab! Our favourite part of our stay was sitting outside the tent at night with the fire burning and looking up at the stars. We loved every minute of our stay and Sarah and Danny were both amazing and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come again and will be recommending to all our friends and family. Thank you again!! X

The hideaway, with optional private hot tub

JodieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is absolutely beautiful, I 100% recommend. The caravan is quirky, clean includes everything you need and I have to say the bed is soooo comfortable. Outside of this are a couple of seating areas outside, then seating inside the hot tub area with log burner which was extremely relaxing on an evening. Behind the caravan is a little opening to the huge field where you can sit and watch the sunset. There is an added touch of an onsite bell tent shop with drinks & snack. Nina was the perfect host, clear communication from start to finish, extremely friendly and was there on hand if we needed anything. There was an issue with the shower due to the storm however Nina opened up one of the static caravans for us to use, which is extremely kind of her. Overall this was a perfect stay, we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be booking again but for longer 😊
