Apartment vacation rentals in Demerara-Mahaica

This is my fourth or fifth time staying at Holly's place. My repeated stays speak to the exceptional service Holly renders as a host, cleanliness of place, safety, and value for money that Holly's place delivers I would recommend anyone to stay there.

Vanessa is an amazing host. She was always quick to reply and was kind enough to let us check in early/check out late because there weren’t any guests before/after us. Had an internet issue but she was trying to resolve it before I even mentioned it. Place is spacious with 2 bedrooms and clean with hot water (I can’t take cold showers no matter the weather) and washer/dryer. A/c was amazing after a hot and humid day outside. Provided drinking water was a welcome bonus. Place is next to a busy road where you can catch buses into downtown or you can use her suggested taxi guys. I used Quincy who was very social and helpful with suggestions of places to eat and things to do. Close to Botanical garden although the entrance Is on the other side (about 0.75-1 mile away). Walking distance to store markets and places to eat. Golden Pagoda and Grill Kings (takes visa) 5 mins walk away. Would recommend staying here just for the nice and responsive host alone.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was welcoming, communicative, and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The location was convenient, quiet, and perfect for getting around. I especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, a stocked kitchen, and local tips. I’d definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

We were extremely happy with the accommodation and services offered. Our stay was a very pleasant and enjoyable. It was all as described. Would highly recommend for 1 to three person’s looking a tranquil, peaceful place that is just on the outskirts of Georgetown and its environs. It is certainly a “HOME AWAY FROM HOME” believe me. Sitting under that mango tree and enjoying those delicious juicy Mangoes was so Nostalgic and was such a treat for my Grandson.👍👍 Thank you so much Carol and for Edward….You Guys we’re Great Hosts…..Will certainly be staying at Esther’s Villa when we visit Guyana again. We had a great stay at this well-appointed 3-bedroom condo. Each bedroom is self-contained, offering privacy and comfort, with very comfortable beds that made for a restful sleep. The condo features new appliances and all the amenities you need for a convenient stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it's the perfect spot for relaxation while still being accessible to local attractions. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Cindy’s Airbnb! Cindy was very nice and welcoming, making the entire experience smooth and pleasant. The place was quiet, tidy, and had absolutely no issues during my stay. Everything one could possibly need in an Airbnb was thoughtfully provided, which made it feel just like home. Plus, the location was very convenient, with malls and supermarkets nearby for anything I needed in a pinch. Thank you so much, Cindy, for a great stay. Very grateful to stay at Christopher’s. We felt safe and well looked after! It was lovely over looking a canal and a beautiful green jungle opposite! The bed was so comfortable!

First of all, Gregory and Barbara’s communication was clear and responsive before my trip. Arriving after their usual check in time I was accommodated by the local host Peter who was flexible with my late night arrival. The home itself was comfortable and had everything I needed for the length of my trip. The location was very convenient for myself as it was in walking distance of everything I needed, including a full supermarket just one block away. Any minor issues were resolved quickly in communication with Gregory or Peter. The place felt very safe, secure and clean. I highly recommend for anyone that wants to stay right within the mix of the locals and the city of Georgetown. Thank you again to the hosts for my amazing first stay in Guyana, will definitely stay here again!

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! It was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. The location is great, everything I needed was nearby, yet the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet at night. Only issue we had was that the hot water wasn’t working.which was important for me. The host was kind, very responsive, and made the whole check-in and check-out process smooth and easy. The Pictures does not do the place justice. It is Huge! It’s on the top floor. (My preference)This Airbnb is located is a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. It’s has a security on premises 24/7. The house inside is huge. Ideal for a large family trip. The self contained rooms were a plus. Just had a minor hiccup that the host and I were able to talk about. She is very responsive and helpful. It’s worth the money! Will stay again.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. Paul and Margaret were excellent hosts who gave lots of useful advice. Great location with lots of good food within walking distance. Fresh coconuts right outside the building. I would stay here again.

I have no complaints. The Short Stay was decent. The hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with. Parking was available outside. I would stay there again.

Staying at Nell's place was ideal. Convenient location, comfortable, clean, and quiet surroundings. She was accommodating even after we had difficulties changing our reservation to stay on an additional day. Recommended for anyone wanting somewhere to stay for either business or pleasure!
