Waterfront vacation rentals in Del Norte County

We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

We enjoyed the location. Everything like our favorite restaurants and grocery store was within walking distance which we loved. Place was clean and comfortable.

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. Great location to explore part of the Redwoods. Kin Khao is walking distance for great Thai food - recommended by Brandee. Very comfortable shower and bed after hiking. We would stay here again 😊

This is a great place, right next to the beach. The beds are extremely comfortable. The property is immaculate with absolutely everything you need. Would highly recommend.

It was a wonderful stay with easy walking to beautiful views of the water as well as easy access to the Redwoods. We were given recommendations for activities which turned out fantastic. We stayed 4 nights and could easily stayed 1-2 more because we like to indulge in our surroundings and thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations. It was great!!!!

The Ugly Marlin was FANTASTIC. Everything was as described. Very clean. Ocean views to die for. Getting the heat on in the living room was a bit of a challenge but after trial and error we got it functioning and it worked fine the rest of the time. Would definitely stay again!! Beautiful location on the river and we really enjoyed the hot tub kayaks and the view. The redwood lined driveway was very cool and we were close to the hikes we wanted to do.

Beautiful location overlooking the beach and ocean, with a covered outdoor space that is wonderful for watching nature in action. Bring binoculars to look for whales. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and kitchen tools, and the house has an extensive collection of vinyl records. Overall a very comfortable place to hang out for a while and take in the sea and air.

We had such a wonderful time! It was our first time to the pacific coast, and with the most perfect magical gateway to the beach directly from the property. The neighborhood was quiet, the beach was so much fun and beautiful! Two cities to enjoy just a short drive away!

Home was like its own retreat! Has neighbors but would not know. Gorgeous views, warmer than the coast, well stocked, and very clean! Will definitely be back!

Great value for a great location! It has easy access to both ends of town, sits along a quiet and accessible section of beach, and has unobstructed views of Castle Rock. The house is a bit tucked away, so you need to be watchful on the approach, but it has great private parking in back. It is an older home so it needs minor maintenance in places, but everything you need is there, clean and in good working order. Wifi was a bit slow for some streaming services, but otherwise we would be hard pressed to find anything to complain about. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bath were well-maintained, and we never had any issues during our stay. Instructions were clear, access was easy, and the house was stocked with everything we needed as we arrived. There was even bottled water in the fridge - which was greatly appreciated after a long commute! Thanks for a great experience - we would definitely use again!

You can't be closer to the ocean. The spa is right next to the beach. Great place to relax after a hike in the Redwoods parks.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were in the area to visit a few Redwood parks that were close by and spent very little time actually the airbnb. It was a lovely place and exactly as described. If we're ever in the area we would definitely reserve again.
