This is by the far, my favorite airbnb experience! The house is overlooking a magical view that I do not think i can describe with words. You are literally above the cloud. To have a coffee on the terrace near the trees is in itself a great experience. Yara, the host, is the most wonderful person. She was very welcoming and offered local recommendations, very responsive, and extremely helpful. She also offered me some local fruits from her garden. They were delicious. The house is beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities in the kitchen and in the rooms. I really enjoyed the zen zone and got to finish a book i was reading. The space helped finish a job and sparked my creativity. The calmness was like i traveled to another world. The rooms are well equipped and the beds are comfy and felt like i am home. The outside setting is just marvelous. You have to go up there to understand where my enthusiasm is coming from! Best experience ever, i will be sure to come back.

Salma will make your stay in her house worth to remember. my family and me were struck by the serenity of the place. The house was clean and large enough for a big family. Salma greeted us warmly with dried figues and walnuts. It was a bit difficult to spot the house on the house driving through the narrow village streets but it was worth the effort. Another thing when my mom happened to forget her golden bracelet in the house Salma was quick to report that and went the extra mile to return it without having to lose our time driving back. I recommend this stay run by this lady to any person looking to support a local and looking for peace. Thank you dear Salma

Zaher and his family are amazing. Due to a change in our plans, I requested he cancel our original reservation, which he did, so that we could book for a later date. His communication was excellent. Zaher is prompt, friendly, and clear. What else could you ask for? We loved our stay and will definitely return. We had many special requests due to the special needs of our family, and every single one of our requests were met with care and attention to detail. The food and company were amazing and it was lovely to relax in the pool. Highly recommended! 11 out of 5 stars!

This was, without a doubt, the best place I’ve ever stayed. Everything was absolutely perfect. The house is fully equipped, warm, and designed for complete comfort. It’s not just beautiful—it’s incredibly safe, with a police station just 200 meters away for added peace of mind. The location is simply breathtaking. Nestled by the river, surrounded by nature, and close to everything beautiful. But what truly made this stay unforgettable was the host, Samy. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering incredible hospitality and invaluable local recommendations. Thanks to him, we discovered some hidden gems we would have otherwise missed. From start to finish, it felt like home. I already can’t wait to return next year!

It’s my second time staying here, and there’s a definite reason why I come back - Zeina and her family are lovely, the place feels like a warm hug, and the view is immaculate. I’ll be sure to return soon!

My experience in Ehmej was more than fantastic. I stayed for nearly 6 weeks and never felt like I was anything other than a welcomed guest. George, Ramza, and Anthony were fantastic hosts and the village is very charming. I would love to come back.

The house itself was stunning – spacious, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The garden is beyond beautiful, offering a peaceful retreat with gorgeous views that made our stay extra special. Philip was super responsive and always quick to help with anything we needed, making the experience even better.
