A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. We loved our stay at this charming lakeside cabin! The perfect blend of rustic appeal and modern comforts made it an ideal getaway. While it felt authentically cozy and tucked away, the thoughtful amenities—like reliable Wi-Fi, flatscreen TVs, and an easy-to-use coffee machine—made our trip stress-free and enjoyable. The outdoor hot tub was an absolute hit, especially situated right next to the fire pit—there's nothing quite like soaking under the stars after roasting marshmallows by the campfire. Mornings were just as memorable, sipping coffee from the swinging bench overlooking a truly stunning lake view. The location was also ideal, just a short drive from fun eateries in Bar Harbor and the beautiful trails of Acadia National Park, offering us plenty of opportunities for exploration. The hosts were fantastic, quickly responding to all our questions and making us feel right at home. We highly recommend this spot!

I wish I could give this place and host more than 5 stars! Deirdre was incredibly sweet and extremely fast to respond to any questions we had. The cabin was cozy, clean, and just what we were looking for! Our trip revolved around hiking Acadia NP, and while this Airbnb was about an hour drive to the main part of the park, it was WELL worth it. It was away from the busyness and very quiet peaceful and private. Plus it’s only about 15 mins to the Schoodic peninsula! There’s a small path to some rocks you can sit on and relax by the ocean, which after a long day of hiking was perfect! Bonus- We were able to see the northern lights from there!! All in all this place was 10/10 and I highly recommend. If I ever get the chance to return to Maine, I would absolutely love to stay here again!!

Fantastic stop on our way up to Acadia. Only wish we had booked for two nights instead of one! the wood stove was super efficient on a very chilly October night. Close to the Pour Farm and Odd Alewives breweries, which were awesome. And very quick drive to Camden for food options and excellent ocean/mountain hikes. Very clean and cozy Maine camp. We hope to be back!

We had a wonderful time! The views and amenities were amazing. We had a blast using the kayaks and the living space was lovely to wind down in after an eventful day exploring the outdoors. It was the perfect spot for our party of 6. We look forward to returning one day!

Amazing relaxing stay! Beach is a short walk. Everything you needed to enjoy your stay was there even cream for the coffee!

We had a wonderful visit at Caitlin’s cozy cabin! Loved watching the sunrise in the morning from the front porch and winding down with a glass of wine in the evening outside. Caitlin and Jackie were both very responsive and great hosts - will be staying here again!

Perfect location for Acadia if you are looking to be in a rural location around a hour or so drive. Blue hill avoids the hustle and bustle of bar harbor. Daniel’s place has an extended back yard to a pond and the scenery is gorgeous. No issues at the home, everything was great and Daniel reached out several times to ensure all was well. Recommend to all.

stunning in the fall. feels very private even though it's next to other cabins. chairs in the back are awesome for view of falling leaves and woods. walkable to sandy point beach, but easy drive if necessary. amazing places to eat and shop in Belfast and surrounding area. we had an amazing trip.

This was a return visit to Butch’s beautiful property and the Owenta Cottage. Once again, both the cottage and the surrounding landscape afforded us a peaceful relaxing week unplugged from the chaos of city life. It is not far if you want to make the drive to Acadia, a day trip is easy. In addition to our time on the property, we had a wonderful dinner at the Arborvine restaurant in Blue Hill, tremendous pizza from Blaze, and explored the Blue Hill bookstore. Thank you Butch for your hospitality once again and for sharing this wonderful space with us!

From the start, Claire was wonderful. Super friendly, responsive to my one question, and helpful. The cottage has just been completely renovated and was perfect. Even Mila the dog felt welcome and loved it. Will definitely be going back!

Cute place with everything we needed. Very peaceful and private location but close enough to Bar Harbor and hiking trails in the park. All in all, perfect for our needs.

Lovely place to stay. It's about an hour drive from Acadia National Park. Location is very private with a nice outdoor patio area overlooking the water. Clean, spacious, easy parking, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. (the heated blanket was a bonus surprise) This was perfect as it was a bit chilly during our visit. Loved the shed out back as additional sleeping space. We would have used this if it was a bit warmer. Lots of games that the host provided and also some maps which were useful. I cannot say enough great things about our stay here. The outdoor shower is absolutely incredible; so well crafted! If you’re looking at the listing and hesitant to book due to the toilet situation - don’t be! It was cleaner than quite a few other places we’ve stated that had “real” bathrooms. The cabin itself had everything we needed and more (comfortable bed, extra blankets, anything you’d need to cook simple meals, etc.). Everything was very clean and the rules & checkout instructions were very clear, which was great because that is definitely not always the case when you book a place. Bethany is a gracious and responsive host and the area is incredible. If you’re looking for a place in this area, I highly recommend staying here if it’s available for your dates!

Masha's oasis cabin was just what we needed this weekend. It was so peaceful and private. No lights- just stars, no wifi- just connecting with each other. Masha was such a thoughtful host as well and made sure to check in with us to make sure we didn't need anything else. The cabin is also about an hour and a half from Acadia which makes for the perfect day trip!

Starry Nights was an absolutely beautiful location that was a welcome retreat when returning from our days at Acadia. The house was spacious and the view from the deck was breathtaking! Ann was a responsive host and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had!

BEAUTIFUL! My family of five was quite comfortable. The private beach is simply wonderful. A magnificent surroundings to step back and recharge. Oh! And you’re minutes from Acadia and Bar Harbor! Chefs kiss!

We loved our stay! We wanted something that felt like camping with some accommodations for the chillier temperatures in fall.

The cabin was great!! Very homey and spotless!!! We cooked breakfast just about every morning!! Perfect simple dishes and utensils to use!!! Place is very centrally located along the coast. Nice lil Shops and restaurants around!! Another plus was the cable tv!!

Cabin is a rare find in New England since it was modern, pet friendly and secluded with its own hiking trail connected to a charming farm. The furniture, decor and lighting delivered an amazing glamping experience. But above that, host was sensational with local recommendations and exceeded all expectations to make our stay pleasant.
