It is the only village on the banks of the Great Prespa and is a declared traditional settlement. About 4km from Meteora and 18km from Trikala is the Community of Theopetra. Entering the settlement we find the archaeological museum of Theopetra cave. Itis a cave of the Middle Paleolithic period. A little further down at 100 m you will find the country house consisting of two traditionally independent rooms.
