Walden is located in the middle of the unique coulissen landscape of the Frisian woods. Trees, hedges and wooded borders surround the meadows. With grasslands, water, and patches of forest in between. It looks cozy, those grasslands among the trees. Smûk, we say in Frisian. As many as 250 species of birds and many other animals live here. The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

Imagine yourself back in your school days by staying overnight in an old elementary school. The building is located in De Veenhoop, a small village located in nature and next to National Park De Alde Feanen. Enjoy the space, hiking, biking and of course the water, it's all possible here! For Christmas vacation bookings this year: we are having a baby in December and can use our peace and quiet during this time. The accommodation is bookable, but only for groups looking for peace and quiet! :-)

Luxury water house in Friesland near nature reserve

Luxurious water house (100m2) with a large garden offering lots of privacy. On open waters. Shed for bicycles. Parking for 2 cars and space on the side of the houseboat for a boat with a maximum height of 1.7m. use of 4 x1 pers and 1 x 4 pers canoes in consultation. towel packages can be ordered for a fee. The houseboat is quietly located and is therefore not rented out to young people or for student, drinking and bachelor parties. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the houseboat.

Everything is within easy reach from this centrally located space. This spacious, detached upstairs apartment has a sheltered roof terrace and a living room with lots of windows that offer views of the famous Oldehove and the green, water-rich Prinsentuin. The spacious kitchen has all the facilities to prepare a delicious meal. The house has 3 bedrooms, a crib and high chair, 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms. A free parking space outside and a separate indoor garage to be booked.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up with a view of the dining room, a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their beds in front of the window every evening, and sometimes a sheep walking by... Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no Wi-Fi and no TV. There is, however, a large table for playing games together and a lovely sofa for drinking a glass of wine together. Make beautiful memories together! And extra fun: the first lambs are born at the beginning of October!

Nice house on the Boarne, near the Frisian lakes

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, you can board the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and is equipped with every comfort. You can stay comfortably with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are wonderful. They are now set up as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. Wi-Fi is of course also available. And above all, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3 p.m. and check-out until 12 p.m.

't Veenhuys - for 4, with Jacuzzi and view

Cozy sleeping under the giant old beech tree. At 't Veenhuys, you can watch the stars in one of the darkest spots in the Netherlands and unwind with views of pure nature - if you want from a 5-person Jacuzzi. Welcome to the friendly Fryslân! This nature house is nicely decorated and has a ceiling of oak beams. It has beds from Van Der Valk and a huge glass front, which means that you can enjoy the ultimate here.

Welcome to our modern accommodation in rural Kortehemmen. Enjoy calm, comfort, and views over the Frisian landscape. You have your own entrance, private terrace, garden and free parking on private property. The area is ideal for hiking, biking and boating. Thanks to its central location, this is the perfect base for exploring Friesland and visiting the most beautiful nature reserves, villages, and towns.

A unique water villa with a very luxurious look. Our water villa is located next to the marina of Warten near the beautiful nature reserve Alde Feanen. A beautiful part of Friesland, with beautiful sunsets. Around this area, many cycling routes can be found, including the famous ferry route. The parking lot at the water villa has a charging station. A maximum of 2 vehicles are allowed in the Arkenpark.

Natural cottage Het Twadde Hûske in Marum

Het Twadde Hûske is a cozy, colorful apartment with a peaceful view over the meadows in Marum. Situated on a quiet private road, you will enjoy complete privacy and a nice terrace with lounge chairs. The cozy accommodation is equipped with a new kitchen and bathroom, underfloor heating and air conditioning (cooling/heating). A complete base for up to 5 people and a baby. Come here and relax! 🫶

In the middle of nature; De Ooievaar + Hot tub (optional)

Next to our small nature campsite (this is only open during the summer holidays) is a beautiful vacation home in the middle of nature. Jurjen has made the cottage all by himself and made sure that you can completely relax. The kitchen is a real “Oldtimer” but also with oven. The wood-fired Hottub can be rented separately for €90,- for a weekend and €120,- for a midweek/week.
