Dichtbij Giethoorn, de Weerribben en Hunebedden in het natuurgebied Holtingerveld. The Colony of Frederiksoord, listed on UNESCO world heritage, is only 6.5 km away.

In the middle of the countryside is this former toll booth of the Klosse. This cozy upper apartment (ca. 90 m2) is the upper house of a Norwegian Artist. The farm is 5 minutes away from Giethoorn. You can also walk from the cottage to a nice swimming pool in about 20 minutes.

The towns of Kalenberg, Blokzijl, Giethoorn and Dwarsgracht are within cycling distance. Or rent a boat to see the Weerribben from the water.
