At the end of 2023, we converted our cozy B&B into an apartment that is equipped with all comforts. And we speak from experience because during the renovation of our own house, we lived in it ourselves! 🏡 Also check out our website! The Waldhûske (built in 1918) where we live ourselves, served as a butcher shop at the time and has a completely renovated guest house at the back. Near the center of Burgum and within walking distance of various eateries and shops in the heart of "De Fryske Wâlden" where water, nature and various cycling and walking routes come together.

In beautiful Friesland, this beautiful house with great views is located. The Serre is a vacation home behind our house with a nice bright room which borders the large garden. Our dog, chickens and walking ducks also live in this garden. Great nature reserves in this region invite you to hike and cycle. In addition, Leeuwarden and Dokkum are cozy cities nearby. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the house.
