House vacation rentals in Darlinghurst

This place was perfect for what we wanted. Close to cafes and the beach yet in a lovely residential street - we felt felt safe and at home. Comfortable, great linen (none of this synthetic, sweaty hotel stuff), fly screens on the windows for inspect-free fresh air, and a fab kitchen for a proper dinner cook!

This property is absolutely beautiful. The way it has been decorated and styled really adds to the calming feel of the house. We loved the location and the ability to walk around and the view is just breathtaking. Andy was incredibly helpful with recommending restaurants when we arrived. We really did enjoy our stay and it was the perfect property to stay at for a relaxing getaway to rest and recharge.

Tina was an excellent host. She went over and beyond making sure we had a great stay, including putting in a brand new BBQ for us which was greatly appreciated. Communication was great prior to our arrival and during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The apartment was very clean and as described. It was great that liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner was provided, as were kitchen basics, tea, coffee etc. The apartment is in a great location, a 5 minute walk from the Bondi shopping mall where you can buy everything you need, and a 20 minute walk from Bondi Beach. The heated pool, although small, is a rare find and great for cooler times of the year, and the lovely covered outdoor dining area is perfect for BBQs. The area is noisy with a busy multi lane main road directly behind the apartment and a school in front of it. The other thing to note is that the apartment is approached by about 10 steep external steps so might not be easy for people with mobility issues.

The place is in a great location in Balmain and walkable to pubs and public transport. It also has a great view of the city skyline. Host was fantastic to deal with

This was a magnificent place for a long weekend with a group of friends. The views are spectacular, and the place very private. The house was spotless and very clean. I wanted to bring in some flowers and balloons prior to arrival and the host was incredibly accommodating with regards to allowing those services in at the check in time. Would definitely stay again!

We had a terrific stay at Bruce's place. The place is exactly like the photos, so our expectations were 100% matched with the location. It is a lovely and quiet location, surrounded by bushland and nice, quiet streets. I will stay there again when visiting Sydney next time. A really good find and well worth the price.

Very pleasant stay in Paddington - an ideal base to explore the hidden gems of Sydney!

Dongs airbnb was very well turned out and very comfortable.Great area and within walking distance to trains. We had a few queries prior to arriving and Dong replied rapidly and was most responsive to those queries. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay with this host again Car parking out the front was no hassle so we didn’t have to avail ourselves of the garage off the lane at the back

We had a wonderful stay in Paddington at Fred's beautifully renovated terrace house. Fred was a brilliant host, very responsive, and so helpful with our extra needs around our daughters health issues, check in and check out. This really added to our stay at this high quality, sleek, stylish, and very well equipped home. It is in a fabulous Paddington location, while also being quiet and peaceful, very comfortable, and with great beds - a very big plus! The individually controlled air conditioning was quiet and worked very well, however despite the heat, the home remained relatively cool and we didn't need to use it very much. Checking in was very easy and we were greeted by a sparkling clean home and the bottled water and snacks provided were a much appreciated, welcome extra. We would definitely return!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Matt's place. The location is perfect for exploring the city and Matt was so helpful by assisting with a designated car parking space nearby. The home is spacious and comfortable and we really appreciated that it was well-stocked for guests. Highly recommend!

We really didn't want to leave Nicola's beautiful home after almost a week there. The location has to be one of the best in Sydney, with amazing restaurants, coffee and groceries right on your doorstep! The apartment itself was even better than the photos and we were completely flawed by the design and flow of the entire home. We couldn't have had a better experience!!

Marcos place is amazing. Everything about it was next level. The interior design was so good we didnt want to go out. Beautiful and we manage to get two cars inside parking area. Lovely.

We enjoyed our stay a lot! It was close to the hustle and bustle of surry hills, yet in a quiet small street so quite peaceful at night. Amenities in the kitchen was plenty. Will recommend for others to stay at if you want to enjoy the restaurants and boutiques surry hills have to offer yet want to have quiet nights!

Absolutely, the highest rating in every aspect of this beautiful property, simply one of best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Allison is super-efficient with communications, helpful, flexible, and kind. The property is very well equipped with high end appliances, everything you could need as a guest is there. We were so impressed with the interior design, minimalist, exuding quality, warmth, and comfort. Quietly situated amongst pretty heritage houses in the delightful Surry Hills area, yet just a few minutes’ walk to delicious bakeries, a multitude of quality coffee shops and inviting eateries. An easy 5 minutes to the tram stop, taking you directly into the city centre and Circular Quay for the Opera House! We super loved it and look forward to returning soon. Very highly recommended. Our family of four had a fantastic stay at Michael’s house. The location was new to us but had lots of great shopping and eating options and being close to Redfern station made getting into the city a breeze. The house itself is super cute and beautifully presented. A lot of thought has gone into making sure you have everything you’d ever need for a short or long stay, even including a bottle of wine and a packet of tim tams in the fridge. We appreciated Michael meeting us at the house when we arrived to show us around and were especially grateful for his flexibility around check in/out times to fit around our flights. Definitely one of the best all round air bnbs we’ve stayed in.

In town for the Sydney Writer’s Festival, and Max’s place was just perfect. Everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and easily walkable!

Lovely to be close to the amazing shopping and cafes of Bondi Junction as well as in walking distance of Centennial Park. Easy to park, quiet friendly neighbourhood, peaceful lush garden. Stylish and clean, comfortable beds, lots of interesting, quirky and beautiful things to look at. Good quality air conditioners, heaters and fans throughout. We felt right at home here and will definitely come back whenever we travel to Sydney.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house and enjoyed the proximity to the area and beautiful courtyard garden. Kristina was very helpful with ideas of where to eat and visit. It’s also accessible to bus and trains to the city. Her decor was welcoming and it felt like home.

The most ideal Redfern stay - the house is so well equipped and so comfortable. Best location too - close to absolutely everything. Will definitely keep it on our short list of Sydney stays. Thank you for having us!
