Farmstay vacation rentals in Darling Downs

Pauline and Wayne’s place was an amazing stay. My partner, puppy and I had a great time in their guest house. The land was huge, plenty of space for our puppy to run around and the horses were very friendly. Pauline and Wayne were both very friendly and accommodating whilst also giving us alot of privacy. The deck on looks a beautiful mountain valley view, it was perfect for wine during the sunset. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice quiet private getaway borh with or without a puppy dog.

Stayed here for a night with my partner for her birthday, the cabin absolutely exceeded expectations, I’m going to add to the bed review, extremely comfortable Super relaxing and peaceful. I will say however the photos definitely need some updating, they don’t do the cabin justice in just how stunning it is. Could not have asked for a better night away

perfect place to stay with friends or family! So quiet and peaceful, beautiful views and the cottage is perfect! Particularly enjoyed the heated mattress toppers, fresh flowers and gorgeous decor! had everything we could possibly want or need. Also nice and close to town, and other things like the waterfalls!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Woodspring Farm. Been and Sarah made me feel right at home. I loved having the doggo keeping me company in the arvo as I was travelling solo so she was great company. I enjoyed having a pool to jump in each arvo after long mornings out exploring and bird watching. Sarah dropped me off fresh sausages from the farm, bread, milk and butter. Ben gave me a very informative and fun tour of thier farm and some of the state forest as well. plus Eye Fillet steak from thier farmI had for dinner tonight. OMG soooo yum. The bed was super comfy too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Leanne was there to greet us but respected our privacy and gave us support when needed. I’ve already recommended it to others and will probably return before too long.

The cottage was an absolute gem! Stunning view across the farmland to the mountains, so peaceful and tranquil. The cottage was bigger inside than the photos showed but still had the lovely cosy feel of a farmhouse. The outside patio was so lovely with all the plants creating privacy. We used the chiminea at night with a glass of wine and soaked up the atmosphere. The bacon and eggs provided were such a lovely touch. Comfy bed and lovely hot shower. A very functional space. The grounds of the property are just stunning along with the rustic outbuildings. Gary met us and showed us around even though we arrived very late. Close to Kalbar and easy access to all the Rim has to offer. Thank you Gary and Claire.

Cozy cottage in peaceful surroundings, only about 10 minutes outside Stanthorpe and close to national parks. Cottage was comfortable and it had a lovely garden with nice views for relaxing. There was a nice walking trail on the property as well. Hosts were nice and friendly and there was also a very friendly and sweet poodle who would visit. We hope to visit again someday.

Heather’s place was immaculate, so easy to find with step by step instructions (and matching pictures lol), beds were comfy, hosts were super friendly. Loved the rain on the ?tin roof- very romantic. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks Heather!

My family and I loved our farm stay weekend away. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you could want and more. The property is beautiful and we had a great time exploring it. Our two boys loved Moo the dog and feeding all the animals with Leonie. We would love to stay here again!

Loved the high ceilings and the character of the studio! Everything was considered and made it so easy…even the dogs and cats came by for a sniff and a pat! Really peaceful and quiet location!

This would be my second time staying in this little gem which again, did not disappoint! It’s my favourite escape towards sunny coast. Julie is an incredible host and provides all that you need really kitchen wise, lay back in the hammock or bath and enjoy the views of the farm lands and animals. Peaceful, clean and beautiful energy in the home ✨ Cannot recommend higher!!

Absolutely amazing and secluded part of the world. We loved it, and would love to come back some time when it's warmer to make use of the swimming hole. The cottage was much bigger than it looks in the photos, and the property is stunning. Photos don't do the place justice.

Fantastic stay away. Warm, cosy, rained the whole weekend but didn’t matter as we were able to spend the weekend adventuring local towns and watching the rain come over the mountains through the ceiling high glass windows. Fireplace was perfect, we were able to have our boarder collie with us (who also enjoyed sleeping by the indoor fireplace) Wayne and Jodie and made a beautiful handmade breakfast basket for us for the first morning with fresh baked bread, delicious passion fruit butter and more. The perfect weekend to de-stress.

The cottage offers a peaceful retreat and is nestled amongst the most beautiful tranquil gardens I've had the opportunity of visiting. I enjoyed being nestled up in front of the fire or on the daybed listening to the quiet sounds of the garden. Well worth a visit, and will be coming back in spring to see yet another beautiful side to the gardens not offered in autumn.

We just spent 3 nights at Two Rabbit Hill and couldn't recommend this place highly enough. We had such a great stay. The property is so beautiful from the cabins, to the furnishings to the picturesque views all around the property. It was quiet, peaceful & had everything we needed. We went with our son & his wife and we both brought our dogs, who had an absolute ball. It was so comforting to know that the property was 100% fully fenced, so didn't worry about them getting out. There are gorgeous horses that come up to the fence and lot's of roos too! Joanne met us as we arrived and was very welcoming & helpful and checked in with us via the Airbnb app to see if we needed anything else. The attention to detail in the cabins is really lovely. This trip was a birthday get away for myself and my mother. Everything was described perfectly and provided exactly what we were looking for. We only spent 2 nights but immediately felt relaxed after settling in on the Friday. Kavita and Arif were wonderful hosts and allowed us to feed and pet the animals on our last day. We definitely will be back!

What a wonderful house to relax in

Thank you Sam for letting us stay at your beautiful little cottage, very peaceful and quiet however close enough to Kenilworth and Maleny. Loved the house guests (horses and pony) and the surrounding sitting areas.

I totally loved staying at Glen Iris Cottage It was like being at home and there were vases of fresh flowers for us to enjoy The location is very peaceful and I would definitely love to revisit

A great place to stay as a group of friends/family. We had a lovely weekend away and hope to be back!

Kids (and us!) had the most amazing time. Friendly animals and the cottage was full of toys and games. There was no need to leave the property! Nearby Marburg was super cute. The best part was the buggy ride from kind Dave, the kids adored helping feed the cattle; and most of all, the horse ride! We have rebooked already.

How is this a real place! Absolutely beautiful as soon as you hit the gate. Stayed here for a wedding at Crows Nest and all of us agreed we would stay here again. I put up a few photos on my socials and had several people ask where we were staying, it looked that enticing! Thank you Julie for opening up your beautiful home.

If you’re going to Stanthorpe, this is the place to stay! Very private and quiet location, indoor and outdoor fireplace for cool evenings. The beds were very comfortable. Fantastic location, close to everything and the best wineries! Our dogs loved the yard. The bathroom is also great! Can’t say enough about our stay, just perfect.
