If there ever was a paradise lost, never fret because you'll find it again here. A home away from home nestled amidst pristine pine and fern canopy hugged by the mountains - Rabten and his warm family made every bit of our stay in kalimpong a moment to cherish. We were properly spoiled with cooked food (sumptuous), spacious beds and copious rooms, a view to behold, misty mountain weather that transported us to a fantasy novel, a brilliant hall room to congregate and singalong. Rabten personally ensured we had all the right contacts and logistics sorted out for our sight seeing and transport. Rabten's mum was extremely generous to us, and kind. His crew were engaging and always available to help and assist. I would strongly recommend the homestay, and we definitely made friends here whom we want to visit again, soon!

It's tucked away in the beautiful and untouched Himalayan village of Lopchu. Keshav and his family were incredibly warm — their hospitality was truly something else. I stayed here with my older parents, and we were made to feel completely at home, like part of the family. Getting there can be a bit tricky, but with Keshav around to guide you, it’s totally manageable. I’d love to come back and stay longer next time. P.S. You can take a peaceful walk around the tea garden nearby. They also served us lovely homely food for dinner at a very reasonable price.

We enjoyed our stay with our pets at the beautiful homestay. The house is very well maintained and overlooks a valley and a hill. The house has a beautiful garden also. The ambience of the place is very peaceful. Sujata, the owner, cooked tasty meals for us and our pet dogs. Overall a very enjoyable and comforting experience.

Very nice and welcoming people. Both Laxmi ji and his wife made us feel right at home. He treated us like their own family member, always responsive and keen on taking care of us. They've got a picturesque place right at the hilltop, the view was so pristine and beautiful that we felt we should've stared at the mountains and nature all day long. We had a great time there! We thank Laxmi ji and his family from the bottom of our hearts!

The place was absolutely magical! The house was super cozy and good for a group stay. Prayag is an absolutely wonderful host and helps to take care of everything. The view from the place is beautiful , rooms are cozy and clean. Overall - good stay and Would definitely like to come back here :)

great hospitality, 2 rooms with 1 bed and 2 beds respectively. food is great. very helpful host. 2.5 km away from prime location, only 1 bathroom and it's not attached. else everything is great. 5 stars specially for their hospitality. khushboo was very friendly and helpful

This was a wonderful relaxation retreat, The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There are many "suites" to choose from in this property. The restaurant was lovely, The pool was nice but too cold to use in December.

If anybody wants to feel mountains, he must spend a few days there. Sight of snow-clad Kanchenjunga from the room (from the bed, to be precise) in a clear sunny day is a bonus, the real thing is the serenity of mountains. If you fail to see beyond 5 yards, rest assured that Almighty Himalaya himself will console you with the gentle touch of his clouds meandering through the balcony of your room. The surrounding, in any point of time, leaves you calm at the core of your being in this Peaceful Nest, as the name of the room Shanti-neer aptly suggests. You may not even care for all the earthly facilities meticulously provided in the room and through the service as you will remain mesmerized by the Nature throughout your stay there.

Nice little hamlet amidst the jungle. The view from the room was stunning. The owner of the hamlet, Mr.Avinash Rai and family took good care. The food was simple but delicious and warm. You can take simple hiking in the jungle or take a guide to go down to the riverbed. The property is maintained by a group called Furut Camp. They are into this jungle hiking and offbeat camping. They can arrange various activities tailored to your needs. Overall, I recommend visiting this offbeat nature trail.

Zabir’s place is an absolute haven — serene, soulful, and deeply peaceful. The Nordic-style cabins are beautifully designed, blending simplicity with warmth. The bathroom is spacious and well-done, and everything feels in harmony with nature. There’s complete silence — no car sounds, no city noise — just birdsong and rustling leaves. The walks through the vegetation or down to the river are magical. The food is fresh, nourishing, and clearly straight from farm to kitchen. Host Palzor and his family are kind, warm, and incredibly helpful. A highlight was meditating with Palzor in his monastery — a profound and memorable experience. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. A perfect escape from the mundane city life.

From the moment we stepped onto this charming cabin nestled amongst the towering pines, we knew we were in for a truly magical experience. The cabin itself was impeccably maintained, with cozy furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, and a crackling fireplace that made every evening feel like a fairytale. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking. We spent our days hiking through lush forests, stargazing from the deck, and simply soaking in the tranquility of the hills. The cabin's location was perfect – secluded enough for privacy, yet close enough to local attractions and charming towns. I've been visiting this place since a few years now, and the host Prakash is incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with insider tips on local hikes and even leaving a welcome basket of delicious treats.
