Extremely private area detached from the main house on the property, and ample area to park your boat. Literally minutes from the public Shady Grove boat launch and boat and jet ski rentals. 6 minutes from Interstate 40, and about 30 minutes from Dollywood and Pigeon Forge areas, so you can get to your destinations quickly, and then come back to peace and quiet at night.

Location is quiet and convenient, three miles west of downtown Historic Dandridge. Guest have total access to upper main level with no steps . Bottom portion is garage and private living quarters. Only 15-20 minute drive to Sevierville and 25 minutes to Knoxville. Plenty of parking accommodations for bass boats and vehicles!

This is a small, yet stunningly beautiful authentic log home on a 40-acre estate on the shores of Douglas Lake in a primary location. It is the guest house for the estate, and there is a larger main house that is also available for short term rentals. Both booked together make a wonderful vacation! The cabin feels as if you are off in a peaceful world by yourself. It is at the end of a peninsula with a half-mile driveway away from the nearest road and surrounded by a 28,000-acre lake.

Private, roomy studio with bed swing on porch

This studio is on the lower level of our home with a private entrance and driveway. It is the only space on this level. It has a comfortable queen bed, kitchenette and an expansive private covered porch with bed swing and two seating areas. Guests staying 2 nights or more will receive a thank you gift. You will be staying just off I-40 and minutes (20-40) from Sevierville, Pigeon Forge (Dolllywood), and Gatlinburg. We are less than a mile from Douglas Lake.

Come relax & enjoy our charming cottage on the main channel of Douglas Lake. Experience breathtaking sunsets, lakeside bonfires, & refreshing dips in the cool water. Please note, the water level is highest from May-August. This home accommodates 4 adults max & 3 children. The dock does NOT have water at it during winter/early spring drawdown (typically Oct–April). Guests can still walk to the shoreline. Drought can effect levels as it’s a dam system.
